"thinking of having my nipples pierced (wifey), what are the + / - of this please, ive read your sensitivity increases quite a lot?
Advice plz x"
Sensation can increase. However I have heard of a few occasions where its not been done correctly and nerve damage has happened. |

First and foremost it hurts. Really hurts.
But also really worth it. I have had mine done twice now. First pair had to come out when I was pregnant and I had problems.
They take a long time to heal mine are about 9 months in and still not healed properly.
They can stink! Not many people seem to talk about that part but the dead skin and liquids that escape from the piercing stink. As they heal this does lessen though.
They do look amazing though. My advise is get both done at the same time because if you get one done its hard to get the guts to go back for the other one.
I got my clit hood done at the same time as my last boob piercings. worth it! |

I had both mine done and it was soooooo painful. I'm told it's much worse for us guys as they have to peice through the whole nipple not just the teat.
However it was so worth it. I literally got nothing from having my nipples played with before but afterwards they became like On Buttons!
They can be a pain in the ass around fishnet.
I went to a few fetish clubs and they got caught on people's fishnets multiple times.
Also those little netty shower scrub things, keep them well away.
They did take a while to heal and one got infected when I caught it quite badly at work. But now they are healed they can and do take some serious abuse! Love a good nipple clamping |

Had mine done years ago, hurt for a second, no problems afterwards and healed pretty quickly. Had no issues with it.
Wouldn't say it was any more or less sensitive but I like how it looks |

Very sensitive, only down side for me was it took a little while to heal and you couldn't touch them for about a month but everyone is different |

Had mine done twice
Didnt hurt a bit .
It all depends on your pain levels though
Some will scream out loud others will say
it tickles a bit .
As long as you keep it clean during healing itll be fine |

As others mentioned takes a long time to heal . Had mine done yonks ago and then stretched up a size which was painful too ..
Well worth researching your chosen piercer , They actually need to remove a slither of flesh , bit like an apple core device .. And wear straight bars till they heal properly then you can go to rings .. Mine took approx 2 years to heal fully ..They are worth it ... |

I loves both of mine!!!
They were very sensitive before, now they are wonderful! Love nipple play.
But in my case, putting clothes on etc. Sometimes catches them and can be painful. Although not as painful as having one ripped out!!
I definitely didn't like that! So now down to just one! Looks a little odd, like I gave up halfway through lol! But just can't face getting it redone! |

My close friend with benifits, had both hers done at my expense. Her right nipple rejected it, so she only has her left nipple using a bar most the time.
Recently she decided to have her clitorus hood pierced. So when we are on a naughty weekend out, she puts the rings in instead of bars, with a small chain linking them.
Yes walking is a challenge for her, nipple and clit pulling against other each step she takes.
But she adores it.

I have both mine pierced (I’m a body piercer) everyone is different some say they are more sensitive some feel the same ..but I think nips do look sexier pierced ..myself I love my nipple piercings if you look after them you will love them ..If you want them both pierced it’s best to do it on the same day or else you might just have the one pierced for a long time and not go back to get the other one done |

Took mine out last week as I wasn't pain free from it despite it being done 2 years ago, was always having to clean it thoroughly cause of seepage and caught it far too often on clothing and drew blood once so took it out 2 weeks ago and been pain free since. |

They never fully heal. I have both done and love how they look which was the prime purpose of having them done. Sensitivity wise, it made no difference at all, no pain unless they are pulled on. I just think they look sexy as hell! |

Years ago when I was thinking of having mine done, I was warned by a friend whose boyfriend had had one, that I would have an odd shaped nipple.
Anyway I had the piercing done and it was true I had an odd shaped nipple but it was not noticeable with a bar or a ring in.
However, there were two problems the piercing, the first problem as most have mentioned is getting used to not catching the jewellery in clothes. The second problem was it kept weeping, such that my GP advised me to take it out, which I did. After 3 months I missed it, so I had my nipple pierced again but I was scrupulous about keeping it clean and after buying the world's reserves in saline I had no problems. I had no increased sensitivity, but definitely an increased wow factor when the shirt came off (I was also toned in those days which helped).
Due to having an operation under full sedation I had to take it out and forgot to put in for 2 days by which time it had healed up. I could not be bothered to have it pierced again, and was left for 7 years with an odd shaped nipple.
I definitely don't regret having the piercing.

I had both of mine done about 8 months ago and they have taken that long to heal properly. My husband has had to be patient while they have been healing! I love them though - makes be feel sexy and they are more sensitive Am looking forward to showing them off a bit more when all the craziness is over and we can meet people again! I say go for it but agree with what some others have said - have them both done on the same day otherwise you may only have one done! For me it was super painful but only while actually getting piercing done and for about an hour after then just sore. Good luck if you go for it. Will look out for pics |

I have no real experience with then but I have to say that they look sexy as hell, and I love seeing the outline when they're pressed against a t-shirt or dress |

Have both mine done. As most say it takes awhile to heal, mine took about 2 months but that could be of my job being quite physical and kept knocking them. Bloody painful. For me well worth it and most ladies love them when they see them hehe x |

It seems to be different for everyone. I had my nipple pierced 20 years ago and it certainly increased the sensitivity. There was very little pain for me and it was completely healed in a couple of months. Over time I have increased the gauge of the ring I wear, I was told that this would be painful but I didn't experience any pain doing this either. I do wish I'd started with a fatter gauge when it was pierced.
Other people have a completely experience to me though and you won't really know what your experience will be until you do it.
