Dude that’s some great rope work! Hardly beginner level stuff -
I would say to progress further try to find a peer to peer rope group on a popular fetish site that also has life in its name.

Your photos of rope work look great. I like thinner rope to be more artistic. I follow tutorials online as there is nothing in my area. |

It depends on how in depth you want to study. Because what I class as "genuine" Japanese bondage is not just about pretty rope. Although Shibari tends to be used for pretty rope and Kinbaku for connective rope.
However if it is pretty rope that you after the usual culprits are the Knotty Boys. They have two books "The Two Knotty Boys Showing You the Ropes" and I think the second is "Back on the Ropes". They also had a load of videos on YouTube but YouTube now sees rope akin to porn and a load of them have been taken down. But it looks as if OP has seen them already.
On the pretty rope side Phillipe Boxis has videos for sale on rope Macrame.
Lee Harrington has two books Shibari one is "Shibari You Can Use" (and other books on power exchange).
Midori has her book The Seductive Art of Japanese Rope".
Anatomie Studio has tutorials on ties if you browse on its website.
A site called Duchy has a lot of ties on it in pictorial strip form.
More traditional bondage videos can be found on Twisted Monks site and also on Degiotto rope'' site as well.
If you want to get deeper into Kinbaku Japanese rope, Esinem has online tutorial course as does Gestalta.
Esinem has a DVD "Tying People not Parcels" which is getting dated but is a good start.
There is a ton of stuff of varying quality on YouTube and Vimeo.
I have to mention before leaving that tying people (whether shibari or kinbaku) is different from self tying. Proper negotiation should occur. Also before tying another person a passing understanding of the relevant issues in regard to anatomy, nerve damage and blood circulation should be understood.
Good Luck

There are basically two trains of thought on suspension. Some see it as the ultimate test of skill and others think it is overrated. Personally I think suspension is over rated if you watch videos of the Japanese masters they suspend for a reason and not just to show their skill. They in fact tend to use a lot of partial suspension ties to make the scene last longer. Once a person is up the timer is counting down.
Putting that aside there are another two trains of thought. Those who think suspension is simple and those who think it is complex. I fall in the middle. The basics are simple. However doing it safely is complex.
I am a believer that suspension should be taught by someone recognised on the rope scene. This is because if you want to learn Japanese style it is about understanding tension as well as knots. Tension can't be taught on a video.
You also have to learn about what can go wrong and what you can do when it does go wrong, hence reading about anatomy.
However, I am not shibari police and there ties you can use that are not Japanese. I have seen pictures on Fab of suspensions that are not orthodox.
My suggestion is making the road trips. There is a view that London has everything on its doorstep. But I live near Croydon and had my first suspension lesson in Nottingham.
Also my concern is more for the models/bottoms/bunnies because people who try suspension without properly being trained can cause serious long lasting physical damage.
Suspension is edge play and dangerous, it can only be safe to a certain point and anyone being suspended needs to know the risks before agreeing to be suspended. One question should be, where did the rigger learn to suspend? |

Townhouse is closed at the mo due to Covid, but they run a workshop every two month on a sat afternoon. It could be the perfect place for you to get in touch with other rope enthusiasts. |

Up on them there hills |
I love the artistry of rope play, fully understand blood and pressure points.
However, until I fully understand the nerve meridians both pleasurable and dangerous, it is simple decorative play at the moment.
One day I will understand both decorative and stimulation bondage.

That fet site we can't name will probably have some willing rope bunnies for you to practice on once you get to know people. Even here in sleepy Norfolk the East Tanglier rope peer group gets good attendance (obvs not currently!) So there's bound to be more available in a more metropolitan area |

Some nice work OP.
I used some of the books that have been recommended in posts above. (thanks Z )
YouTube for some videos.
Also, I have found a lot of interesting stuff , links , people posting their own work on Reddit.
Worth a look , you might get lucky and find someone local to you.

It is a truism that if you ask 5 riggers what rope is about you get 7 different answers. I would in no way insist on a single explanation of what rope is about. I can only say what rope is for me.
Sugiura Norio a master rope photographer is giving a streamed talk on his style of photography, his talk will be accompanied with tying done by another rope giant Steve Osada. Unfortunately it is on Australian time, but a comment on what Sugiura looks for in a rope picture resonated with me. The comment is this:
"The fifth factor that I see, is that it is about the model, not about the rope. Sugiura sensei, imho, is not photographing the rope, he is photographing the expression of the model in the rope. Which is linked to the fourth factor above, as formulaic rope is unlikely to create surprise and feelings for the model."
I would suggest that Japanese rope is like martial arts in that there different schools of exponents who are followed.
I follow a cross between Yukimaran which is sensual, sexual rope as taught by the late great Haruki Yukimara and the style associated with Naka Akira which is hard rope (ok "semenawa" which is sometimes translated as torture). But the common denominator is that the rope is there to evoke responses in the model (or bunny in old money).
I say this as yesterday I took part in a really good workshop on shame and vulnerability in rope (I will give a plug for Saturday Shibari in Hull).
So I would like to say, yes, there is artistry in rope, and there is also skill. But there is another more important ingredient, the Japanese call it Kokoro, Japanese: ?) and means ‘heart’, ‘mind’, ’emotion’, ‘spirit’, ‘soul.
One of the foremost UK riggers has named his studio Kokoro, and says on his website:
" I don't do rope I do people..." |

Wow is really nice work you showing in the pictures , must say if you haven't had lessons , you are very skilled for sure , i love Shibari , don't see it as sexual practice only but more than that i see it as art |

I believe there’s a rope group that meets in townhouse. Obviously not right now due to covid but normally there is. |

Love bondage and only been tied up once in a club and found that to be an erotic experience. Didn’t know Townhouse did a rope group meet on a Saturday so certainly would be up for being someone’s model one day |
