Why is it that over 50% of social meets with men that I arrange cancel at the last minute? This happened to me again this morning... 
Am I scary? Or just a mug? 
Does this happen to many people on here? |

You are gorgeous honey, so they may have had issues, and don't know whether they all told you any reason or not, but it may not have been their actual reason.
Seems a lot of guys are married, some of them play during work time, some of them get issues with their partners, get work commitments that conflict and call them away. Then others are not as experienced as swingers as they may try to pass themselves off as.
Overall - my experience is that the better I get at filtering people, the more I become selective and ensure that what they want is what I really want, what I offer is what they need, and we don't rush too fast into things, it usually works better.
Where I break my own rules, or don't follow my gut instinct, it often goes wrong more frequently.
Speaking on the phone is a must, as is discussing what you're all needing. Arrange the right meeting place, and ensure that your safety is paramount. As your hubby is involved, this adds some extra protection, and sure you've realised all this, and keep yourself safe.
That said, there are a lot of fantasists about and had 2 today that suddenly can't afford to travel or don't have time for over a month... so it's not high enough priority for them, probably now for me either.

I am joking of course but come on, you are very attractive indeed but of course you are going to get some time wasters as well as some that have genuine reasons to bail out. Dont let it get to you, I am sure you will have no shortages of willing guys to come along for a social. Unfortunately there are some that knowing it is just a social and there is no chance of anything more will cancel on you and for those I think you are better off not meeting them.
Now go and take some more pictures with a bag on your head please, my heart is too weak for another shock...  |

I agree with the others, a lot of guys seem to think that a social meet is a 5 minute chat before getting a shag and or a BJ and when they realise that isn't happening they can't be bothered and I think you are better off without them
Shame I am too old and can't accommodate as I would definitely turn up for a social meeting with you.

I reckon its cos they get nervous and reach for a cigarette after they have quit for the previous 24 hours hoping you wont notice it on their breath.
God I detest non-smokers, most of them have halitosis that would strip the gun-metal grey paint off a type 42 destroyer anyway....but thats another thread...carry on, as you were! |

I dont give out any filthy pics or send much in the way of dirty talk to people that I intend on meeting, just because, for a lot of people, it's the online fantasy talk they are after (which is fine, each to their own) and so anyone who is just after that, tends to give up on me when they realise im only after real meets! |

There's always a reason why they don't turn up,maybe he's married n something popped up,maybe he's a player n someone popped up closer to home. Maybe he bottled out coz your hubby would be there,was he verified?
How long had you been chatting n as he been in touch or just not turned up?

Nope your not on either counts.
Some men are fanasists, some just bottle it when the reality of meeting a "REAL WOMAN" happens - just leave them to their cam wanks.
It is a shame I'm out outside your range of reqs cos i definatly would  if i was up your way. So dont feel bad ! Just concentrate on those who do show as others have already said.

i say it does happen quite a bit yes, sadly.
i think because some guys on here, not all of them, are after no strings sex and frankly dont want to put in the time and effort to meet socially first.
i think its just the nature of the site we are on. some guys just see it as a sex site for one off short notice shags..

Cant really say as i dont know how you go about meeting people. Do you arrange to meet them straight away or do you take time getting to know someone. What works for one might not work for another. But i always take time to get to know someone first and never had a let down yet |

I always meet socially first. In four years I've never had a no show.
Also, if they cancel for whatever reason they don't get a second chance. Too many men to waste time on the dreamers.
Why do people assume it's them or they're "ugly" if they've been let down? Obviously they know what you look like. Is this a form of ego massaging?

It happens. I just delete and move on. Although it has affected who I meet - I am less likely to arrange one on ones with single guys now. I am more likely to get fun at a club, so meet people there instead. |
