Is this happening to other men aswell? When you see your profile has been seen by a woman or a couple but when you go on their profile you are not exactly what they are looking for. E.g. I get views from people looking for locals in areas in Scotland, or I am outside their age range, gender, colour preferences/criteria. I am guessing people have some sort of fantasy looking at profiles outside their preferences

That's a fair point. Honestly, it makes me feel better that people take an interest to have a look. |

I like to look at profiles of those people that potentially interest me. Which is to say women. But the majority of views my profile gets is from men lol. It’s open and I have nothing to hide so I just put a disclaimer on saying I am not into men. |

Why do men get so worked up when a woman has ‘looked’ at then? Gosh I get 88 looks a day but I don’t get worked up....’ooooh a woman has looked at me’.....for goodness sake guys get a grip....  |

Many men are not used to the attention unlike women. ?? Many woman get lots of views/winks- but they probably haven't got the time or need to think about these things, specially when they have so many messages to look through aswell. |

I am in a similar situation. I even get messages from single men every so often for meet which I politely decline. If only I had such luck with ladies haha. |

to many single men think clicking on profile is practically an offer of a meet and can get annoyed when it isn't forthcoming have you never clicked on a profile before thinking theh not really for you |

Fair point. All profiles are open for others to see, unless it is hidden or blocked. That's one thing that makes this website great for us all to find the people we are looking for.  |

True. I agree with you.
But seems unusual to get a good proportion of views from people 100+ miles away from you. Particularly if you hadn't commented on forums for a while either. I mean ?? maybe they are coming to Manchester for visit/work/to live and just having a look around the nearby profiles |

We like to have a look at the profiles of those who have messaged us or those with interesting or similar views to us on a forum thread.
We tend to have a look at the verifications also, it gives us an indication of that person/couples type. |

The only attention I pay to my "Looked At Me" is for amusement only - I don't use it as a means of gauging interest, if they looked and didn't wink or message they weren't interested plain and simple - the fact that most women and some men/couples look in stealth mode only anyway further detracts from the meaningfulness of it. |
