I don't think there are that many on this site. I love a good cougar and I think some women like to think they are but I get let down by many of them! Anyone think that cougars aren't on this site? |

I was not saying I was gods gift far from it, I was just wondering if anyone else was thinking the same as me.
A cougar to me is an older woman who not only considered desireable by younger men but also enjoys the pleasures of a younger male. |

I can understand labeling can be seen as disrespectful. You must be one of the select few, I cannot ifnd a women who is willing to follow up with her words when it comes to meeting older women sometimes. It's a shame for me anyway... haha |

From my experience and I only use the term 'cougar' as a nice little joke.
"OH HAI LADY COUGAR!, come for some young man flesh eh?" It gets a laugh and thats all there is to it.
A cougar is merely a woman who exceeds the guys age by 15 or more years and wants lots of good sex with hot young guys.
She knows how to look for it and likes to take it upon herself to get her claws into the guy before he even knows it.
She isn't a MILF however as MILFs dont hunt anywhere except when a hunky guy pops along and his pants get ripped off.
If a woman is within 10 years of the guys age then she is a Puma |

i just think it sounds a bit sad
i have nothing against younger men i just hate being referred to as a cougar or milf, i dont know why but both expressions just make me feel like a pathetic old women running around after young men to prove to myself i still have it, and i always see men seeking such women as guys who will think im a easy lay because i'll be so grateful for their attention after all how could a woman like me possabaly pass by some nice young meat
I guess we all have our own views and opinions but if i get a message with either in, and i get many, i just pass them straight by, i just want to be seen as me, nothing more nothing less

You over think this stuff way too much. Men are simple creatures and they want YOU to get your claws into THEM.
Granted porn and the media have had a big say in this way of thinking, I have had really good sex with women older than me because not only do they know a few things, they aren't afraid of stuff.

I don't mind the word cougar that much, MILF though bothers me.
To the OP, tastes are different, so you may find one 'older' woman attractive and an other young man doesn't. Personally, I like younger men but if I get the feeling that they only try to meet me because they think I'm an old desperate women, I'm moving on (quicker than you think of an old cougar like me haha) |

Sometimes I think you like to make things difficult for yourselves. you already have a hard time getting meets due to the sheer numbers of single men looking for meets against the smaller number of women looking.
Then you have to start applying labels and alienating your target audience! 
If you really want the world to be simplified into milfs, cougars and pumps then stick with pof and the many sites which have those words in the sitename. If however you are looking for truly liberated, no strings fun with women of many ages who have accepted their sexual nature then stop trying to tell us to chill and take labelling as a compliment!

Most derogatory terms are often accompanied by comments like it's only a bit of fun, chill out.
There are lots of terms that were used until very recently which are now, rightly, regarded as offensive.
I find it very interesting that the men who are in search of certain types of women are being told by their target audience that those terms are offensive. Telling us to chill out is not going to win us over. 
I once had to listen to a man tell me that all black women smelt of coconut (based on his limited sexual experiences) he then wanted me to give him intimate details about my boyfriend who happened to be black so he could further his hypothesis. I was told to chill out and dish - didn't I have a sense of fun and experimentation?? 
Like many women ( and I suspect many ethnic minorities) I get sick and tired of having offensive comments paraded at me and being told to chill and have a sense of humour when I take offense.
The ladies on this thread have, for the most part, stated that we don't like those terms. This is an open forum where there are fewer taboos than in most areas of life. As a result the topic has been discussed light heartedly, but as when this has been discussed before the majority of women have said DON'T USE THESE TERMS TO ME THEY ARE OFFENSIVE LABELS.
