Better for the horse too as less strain on its back. However, even bareback has shown to cause damage. In one study 92% of horses xray showed spinal and disc damage due to excess pressure caused from the rider weight. |

Most of us enjoy bareback sex more than protected sex. But the risk of an STI means that most of us are happy to play safe. Condoms have improved massively over the years, so the actual loss of sensation is minimal.

I often see people with this view and it always puzzles me, risk is not a binary thing, one sexual practise is not as risky as another.
It's like a parachute jump you can Free fall, tandem or static line. They all have risk, just some of the risk is mitigated.
For me, I won't have unprotected sex, and oral, well if there are any signs of sores etc, that's not happening. (With or without a condom). |

unless its non consentual (r**e), all participants can choose to bare back or not.
if its a regular partner and you trust their fidelity crack on.
if not and you are happy to risk transmission of a sexually transmitted disease that might be easy to resolve or for life or possibly kill you thats fine if its JUST YOU.

I honestly can't feel the difference. Maybe that's just me though.
I find that a lot of people don't actually know how to put them on correctly. If it's on wrong a condom can totally ruin all sensation.
I do prefer BB purely for the psychological effect, but I'd only ever do it with trustworthy partners. |

Love these threads. Some familiar faces in here judging. Already had the Russian roulette comment. Russian roulette gives a 1 in 6 chance of instant death so I’m going to say that’s a bit dramatic. Those like me who enjoy bare sex know the risks. I get tested regularly and I’m always honest with anyone I meet. I’ll meet using a condom but I’d rather not. |
