I ask as we've met lots of people who use their main phone for everything, and think we've come up with an amazing idea. It just seemed obvious to us. |

I have two phones - the girls get my normal phone, the guys the play phone, they get upgraded when we become 'real friends' 
I'm not being sexist or anything but the girls are less likely to ring me up all hours wanting sex, when they ring me, they need me!  |

We had one but I kept forgetting to turn it on and check it! And I could never remember the number  I just work on giving my number out to very, very few people - and even then not usually until on the way to a meet. His number can be given if they really feel the need for one beforehand - they're unlikely to be texting him all the time
Have debated about re-starting a play phone back up, but we're ok with how we do it now, I think - it works for us |

Yes I have a play phone. Can't understand why some people don't?! You just never know when someone will call you or text at some daft time. Only my fb has my real phone number, everyone else gets the play phone number. |

I find it bad enough carrying my personal phone around! Then I have a work phone. I really couldn't cope with constantly carrying 3 around!
Plus I don't mind people contacting me on my personal phone. My mates don't know my passcode so it's safe  |

yes though my son is using it at the moment which is causing some issues as a couple of those who have the number obviously haven't logged on for a while or have logged on but not read my profile  |

Used to have two phones. Now just the one. I am strict about when people can call me. One guy kept texting half the night and I was fuming. Genuine friends usually respect this. No problems now for me x |

I had that too; one guy sent me a snotty text in the morning because I dared go to bed! plus I got fed up with some guys texting early in the morning before I had even got up, asking if one is horny at 5.30am really is just a joke |

No but then I am bad enough with answering my normal mobile, spends most of it time living at the bottom of my bag.
But then we don't give out our number willy nilly.

I have a 'hot' line...keep entirely separate from my personal number. I keep it on silent & look at it every other day to see if any one has texted or call....I may or may not return it. |

we have one its left in the house unless needed or i know someone is going to call after having my personal number abused by a few idiots i changfed the number and dug out an old basic handset to stop this |

I don't have a swing phone,used to just use Robs but as its me that sorts most of our meets out have found it easier to just use mine
Don't give it out to loads of people and have never had a problem with anyone taking the piss |

yeah get your priorities right. surely once you give them your number you should be waiting with bated breath for them to call. 
have to have a seperate phone as too omany wierdos on here. some people will only meet after phone chat and i wouldnt give my main phone number to someone i hadnt met yet. i did that in the early days and then had a woman sending crude texts at all times. |

We just use Mr Olives' phone for any arrangements. I'm happy to chat to confirm I exist, but we are not into text exchanges or repeat phone calls and if we get any difficult peeps, he's much better at dealing with it than me |

I stopped giving out my number and restrict it to those I am going to meet but only give it out the day before we are due to meet, after that I block them |

We too have a play phone. It has recently come in handy when one of our vanilla phones had to go for repair.
As for remembering the number, we both have it saving in our vanilla contacts against the dogs name lol! |

Only the one phone here and no problems! The guys I have given it to all get to wait ages and only pass it on if I plan to meet, no one has abused my trust yet! Hassle means no sex for them so it's their loss not mine!!!!!  |
