The thing that gets me about this so-called loving sacrifice is who did God save us from? Himself.
Sacrificing himself to himself because he's angry with me for doing something that doesn't actually have any real effect on him is just bonkers.
If somebody has to die because I look at a woman lustfully, then he should stop complaining and get on with it. |

It's all about the blood and the sacrifice and eternal life in heaven and us remaining on earth.
The new covenant with God was through Jesus. Save your soul through Jesus.
Once he died his spirit could then enter those who believe in the grace of God.
God will forgive sinners in the hope they will become righteous.
The Devil can only encourage sin for him to gain souls to feed on, he cannot forgive he can only torture. A downward spiral into hell for those individuals who follow him.
We all make choices in life, it's the consequences we have to consider and suffer or celebrate.
We wear a seat belt because we know the outcome could worse if we don't.
