On afew occasion, fabbers get upset with me deleting their messages. There are many reasons why I delete, mainly because of my ocd having an empty inbox.

But just because I delete messages, doesn't mean I'm not interested.

Your reasons for deleting messages apart from the obvious (not interested)

I’m thinking majority of us do so for the same reasons you’ve said, OCD and just not interested

I've had a bit of grief about this lately too... is it the new gripe? I delete my received read messages because they clutter up my inbox too. I dont necessarily reply in order to my incoming mail as I prefer to reply to ongoing conversations first then attend to the introductory messages... getting rid of the ones I've read males it easier to see whats left.

One guy was almost hurt that I'd deleted his messages to me which I find baffling... am I missing something here? I dont check to see if my outgoing messages are read, replied or deleted.

For us single guys have to message maybe 100 women to get any success. Women get 1000s of messages a day, so basically there is no point. Just hit the clubs, much better to meet people.

If, after pointing them in the direction of our profile, and replying to politely decline their offer to "put my back door in", they continue to send me pish.

They have the right to send pish.

I have the right to delete their unread message.

All's fair in love and Fab.

this right here, if you’ve sent a one sentence message, not given me anything to reply to and you’re not in my “looking for” list, I don’t see why I should do anything other than delete it. You’ve not put any effort into the message why should I put in any effort to reply ?

Problem is loads of guys like myself use to put alot of effort into the messages and would always look what they are looking for before messaging. I have messaged women off here, and not success but then talked to them at clubs and had fun with them.

Women get to many messages to get through so alot of nice messages get deleted.

That's why I just use fab to talk on the forum and talk to I have met at the clubs and the few people I have met on fab

Our usual reason for deleting without a reply is the contents of our profile have clearly been ignored.

Examples are..

Asking for daytime meets.

Asking to meet me without Steve.

Straight single guys.

Guys who say no photos.

We always think if people cant respect our preferences then we would not risk inviting them into our home and play

I do exactly the same. I dont have time to check if they read them or not!

Exactly! And really I’m fine you don’t need to keep asking! If you’ve got nothing to say I have nothing to say back - simples!

But maybe some men need to up there game? as I reckon we have to wait for awhile for clubs to go back to normal. So in the meantime, cut the dodgy chat up lines and talk to people like they are your fellow human being. I remember back in the clubbing days, the d*unk men who are sleazy, just wana pinch your arse etc get no where. But the guy at the bar, chatting to me about how my night is going and giving me a compliment on my dress etc, just chatting to me like we're friends or bit of mutual flirting is the one I'm most likely to date and fuck
