Again the absurd hypocrisy about condoms. Not a single woman I have met asked for conoms, I had to use them on own volition. Come on, nobody likes them, few use them. This is not the AIDS riddled 80s. |

Shit, AIDS is not the only thing you can catch from unprotected sex! There are a multitude of things. That is the scariest thing I have read. I insist of condoms and have them to hand at all times!! |

WTF???? Take a peek at some recent posts about other STDs and learn! Or just google some nice pics of infected cocks - and hope to god you've been lucky so far!
That has to be the single most stupid thing i've read on here in - well, pretty much ever! |

O M F G
That.. is truely scary!
I just found this, in less than 10 seconds of searching HIVaware.
Did you know?
•Over a quarter of people with HIV in the UK don't know they are infected.
•HIV affects all ages – one in five people living with HIV in the UK are over 50 and last year one in ten people diagnosed were aged 16 to 24.

I do think more people dont use condoms that will admit to it, if you read these forums nobody goes bareback at all yet id say 90% of the guys i have met off here are willing to go bare, people just dont want to admit to it in public
However HIV is still alive and kicking and actually on the up so tho it may not be ar rife as it was in the 80 at this rate is soon will be |

Indeed it isn't.... as there are more cases of infected people now than in the 80's.
Taken from Adverting:
"Around 86,500 people were living with HIV in the UK at the end of 2009, of whom a quarter were unaware of their infection.
In 2010, there were 6,136 new diagnoses of HIV, contributing to a cumulative total of 114,766 cases reported by the end of December 2010.
As of December 2010, there have been 26,791 diagnoses of AIDS in the UK, and 19,912 people diagnosed with HIV have died. "
Taken from The Naked Scientists:
"Throughout the 1980’s the number of newly diagnosed HIV infections per year in the UK rose steadily. The figure plateaued during the 1990’s, averaging about 3,000 cases per year, but then increased dramatically after 1999. By 2005, the annual number of newly diagnosed infections was more than 7,500" |

I agree - its the case most times and id add to that, that as a "swinging" community off here we should be mindfull off such matters - |

In my opinion anyone who has a casual meet and doesn't use a condom is an idiot.
Perhaps once you have met a FB for some time the topic of bareback could be broached but even then you would have to be very select and careful and lets be honest you are putting a lot of trust in someone
There are so many STIs that are so easy to pass on during unprotected sex, herpes, HIV, syphilis, gonorrhoea, hep b and hep c and the list goes on.
The scary thing is most people that are infected don't even know it so pass it onto their next partners
Some STIs are easy to cure, while others are impossible. Most STIs may affect your ability to play for a while and some are with you for life and really you should notify potential partners about them before play as some people in the UK have been given prison sentences for passing on STIs whilst knowingly infected.
A few STIs are life threatening unless treated.
The last thing to say is that most STIs can be passed on during oral too so be very careful!
At the end of the day each to their own but some people on here are very ignorant of medical facts and if they were a little more educated perhaps they wouldn't make some of the decisions they do |
