Are people attracted to someone equal to their own looks, for example a curvy attractive woman finds another muscly attractive man?

Or opposites attract, a quiet submissive woman attracted to dominate charismatic man?

For me, it’s always the sum of all the parts put together. It’s easier to say what I am not attracted to, namely spiky personalities, or firery temperaments. I cannot do with the drama.
