For me, the space and the cathartic release is worth the drop. But aftercare is essential when it comes to drop, i get quite anxious and quite down on myself (I once nearly quit my degree because of it) |

I personally think it is a massive drop from euphoria to...
You move from a non cognitive space to, well cognitive domestic place.
There are ways to to bridge it, you are right after care is one of them.

There is no right answer.
Subspace is when the cognitive mind is overcome by sensual overload.
It often creates a orgasm that can roll and multiply.
So your high is very high.
George Miller and 7+/-2 cognitive thinking is your friend with this.
The sub drop is a massive difference from all the happy hormones to (I suspect) a feeling of insecurity (my words), perhaps vulnerability might be a better word.
You would need to talk to subs, don’t talk to people like me, my perspective comes from one view. |

You never know if your gonna get sub drop, or even Top drop. I've had one masdive sub drop. We'd been to Birmingham for the weekend. Had fun in out hotel. Been to a swingers club in the evening, then the BBB daytime and after party.
Such an amazing weekend, but the drop lasted around 3 days. Such an amazing weekend, I didn't it to end. |

the drop is worth the euphoria i feel while in ss.
As highlighted above, aftercare is so so SO important. if you don't already have communication with your partner re: what happens next, then (from personal, naive experience) the drop could be horrific, depressing, and in some cases dangerous.
that being said, when you have someone you've built the relationship with, both mental, emotional and physical, and have communication with, being worked up to that point where you're at that height, and you purge every other thought or feeling you have.. the release is overwhelming. That mind-altering, floating in the stars, deliciously tingly feeling you get when you just relinquish everything, and are just there in your ss bubble.
im generalising here.. but aren't we all chasing that perfect high?
