Do you message profiles that don’t have a pic?

I will send a message to silhouettes to see if the women behind them would like to strike up a conversation. Obviously I don’t know if I will fancy them but I think it’s polite to start a dialogue and you can have friendships without having to have sex. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? |

We never send a message in the first instance but do answer all messages sent to us and that includes blank picture ones as it’s their time they are wasting not ours.

I agree.
I prefer profiles with few or no pics. There is a person behind every profile. I want to know the person. |

I know this is out there but I read the profile and then deside on that basis whether I message, there is loads of time to see the person or persons later on.  |

For me, its people who are only concerned with looks, but every one is different and after different things. If I met a Brad Pit and he had an attitude , I wouldn't. |

Some people think you have to have a face as your profile pic, so as they would rather not do that they think the silhouette is acceptable... the best way is to send a face pic with the first message but some people won't do that either..
And then they wonder why they got no response |

Currently not hidden, changes day by day. Reasons include the need to be discreet, people stealing pics before, being hounded by men and tbh the main reason is thay its the way that i have decided to use fab from now on. I really dont care about making sense on here, hardly anybody does |

We don't discriminate people have their own reasons for no face or public photos. We have had great meets and great conversations with people who don't need to be exhibitionist.
From this thread I expect some will bypass us . Looks are skin deep, engaging our brains scores over photos any day. |

When I first joined I was keen and tried to contact any profile that looked interesting
I’ve now become “ seasoned” and know from a few key factors who are likely to be real and worth trying to make contact with
And these are usually those with pictures, references and full profiles that match mine |

I personally don’t think there is any right or wrong, just opinions and every bodies are valid as we form our opinions from experiences. Because I am a born again optimist I will give folk a chance. If they choose to remain anonymous and not reply, that is their choice. |

Only if they have a very compelling written presence and/or have shared a reason for keeping it blank, but generally no, I won't bother.
In fairness I can understand why some very shy people might not want to share any public images at all, especially if they know that family or close friends might be on here. But what *REALLY* grinds my gears is when people on regular, vanilla dating sites don't use a picture of themselves... it seems kinda basic. |

I'd love to engage with people on a personal level but unfortunately contacting someone on that basis alone often leads to accusations of time wasting because most people are here to meet for sex. For this reason and because being as shallow as a puddle I only want to get up close and personal with someone I find attractive we don't contact profiles without pictures |

No. It's unlikely that I will ever know the people behind them even exist. There are too many people here for me to ever know all of them. I don't have enough time to waste ob those that make it difficult |

Supply and demand. If you are popular (for whatever reason, but often by virtue one of you looks like you have a vagina) you want a profile pic, good text and sometimes pics of the business end. If you are one of the horde (generally single men) you will talk to silhouettes, blank profiles - pretty much anything - if you thought it would give you a chance of seeing the hallowed lady parts.  |
