When is the right time for social meets?

Hyde Park, London

Hi all,

Hope we are all keeping well and safe out there?

As my return to full work looms I can’t help but think about meeting again. Perhaps not full meets like before but more on a social basis. With distancing of course?

Am I being selfish? Is it too soon to meet regardless of circumstance? I feel massively conflicted about it all.

I have had a social meet this week. A walk in the park with a takeaway Starbucks. A great way to spend the evening.

Surely there’s no problem sitting 2 metre apart in a park and having a social?

Nothing wrong with that

Shangri-la

I'd say that's down to each individual person's circumstances. I've had a couple of socially distanced meets with friends and family which were lovely but difficult at the same time. Next week I have a socially distanced meet with my boss.

It'll be a long time before I have any fab meets though, even those that are socially distanced.

Giving that everyone in the UK has a "social distance" policy, socials are permitted in guidance of distancing "rules".

But to go further and have a physical meets, that's against fab's "code of conduct" and "social distancing"..

I always have a social first on fab.

It wouldn't be any different now.
