Everyone give one of their favourite fake profile give aways. I'll go for telling you they dont have a webcam, and the webcam photos on their profile were taken "at a friends house".  |

i never really get people contact me on fake profile as i only meet single guys, tho i have had a few 'couples' mail me asking for meets and when i say i dont meet couples all of a sudden the guy meets alone |

I've seen this too. A new user, hours old, with a longer friends list than me. The green flag means nothing to me either. All it says to me is 'your phone takes pics & you can write'! If they've got no verifications & been a member over a year, I take that as they don't meet. |

we dont have a webcam but read our profile verifications youll see were very genuine and have met plenty of lovely people. I do however speak on the phone when people actually talk to us and arrange dates. |

Simple really - un verified profiles or profiles with masses of "friends" but no "meeting feed back" - and to immediatly contridict myself i say that not that either are essential; but its a good way of letting the world of FS know your the genuine article

So do we assume that someone is fake just because there is some things that they don't like doing?
i.e not everyone feels comfortable talking on the phone or webcamming, not everyone has a webcam (I don't and I don't want one either)
It seems that there's an awful lot of 'if you don't play the game I want to play then I'm gonna call you a fake type games going on and it's just silly.
Also pressure is a real turn off you know.

My reasons for wanting a phonecall also is for safety for myself...and what happens when u arrive at ur destination, and ur at the wrong door etc, or ur gonna be 5mins late????...where do i contact...or do I just pretend I was there and they werent??
as most people now know....a throwaway phone is a good idea if its phonetextcallpests that is the worry.Personally I've little time for extended phonecalling,texting and all of my contact mainly concerns the meet at hand...but theres no fuckin way i'd turn up totally blind to a meet...that i dont even know for sure exists.
(ever been on a 'surprise meet'-the wifes no knowledge of the actual meet???-its HIGHLY awkard!- yes this shit happens.
So 99% of my meets I WANT phone contact, for all the reasons above.Its not pushy its just bloody common sense in my opinion. |

thats why i dont accommodate, ive had so many problems in the past with clingy meets i simply dont want people knowing where i live, its not just women who are stalkers lol

OK, people clearly seem to have misunderstood my initial post. I didnt say that if you dont have a webcam, you are fake. i stated a comment that ive heard from numerous 'fakes' from this site. they have photos clearly taken on a webcam, but when asked about the webcam, they say the photos were taken 'at a friend's house'.
Hope that's cleared it up and people can stop posting that they dont have a webcam, but are still genuine, because that's not what i meant |
