I’m looking now. My budget is £8k. Crazy thing is most places are actually so out of stock now that you may have to wait until next summer anyway so plenty of time to research lol |

We have a inflatable one. Cost about £300ish. We love it and it's great as we can move it during the winter into storage. Only thing is the running cost. Constant electric to keep it heated and chemical's to keep it clean. |

Weve got the Vegas inflatable lay z spa we paid 250 for it last year for the amount it's used we wouldnt justify buying one of the fibreglass ones for thousands of pounds, rather just pay for a weekend glamping which has one with a hut.  |

Just remember when you clean it out you will find giant dead spiders at the bottom . !!!
We have two a big one that cost loads and an inflatable one that we use inside the house . Both are fun for parties but they don’t really get used now other than for parties . |

Definitely worth mentioning that the running costs can be pretty steep. I was paying £50 a month for a maintenance plan (visit every 3 months to clean, service etc.), and on top of that easy £15+ a month on chemicals. On top of that there's the electricity cost, which depends on the hot tub you get.
Even if you pay someone to do the maintenance, it's still down to you to check and manage the chemical levels frequently (they recommend every day, but I find every 2-3 is fine unless you've had folks in it).
You'll also need to replace the cushions every few years (£25 ish each), and eventually the lid as well.
So yeah, you might think 10 grand all in isn't bad for a fully installed hot tub that should last 10+ years, but there's a whole lot more to consider on top.

We just have an inflatable one that we probably wouldn’t have bought if it weren’t for the lockdown,
Cost around £200 and definitely worth it, obviously not going abroad now this year so we’ve had our money’s worth whilst the weather has been good so far. |

We looked at both inflatable and fibreglass and decided on a quality second hand fibreglass one, got lucky with ours and have no regrets, better insulation, filtration, more comfortable and cheaper to run than an inflatable, has full hydrotherapy jet with built-in speakers and mood lighting, we use it two or three times a week, good both day or night, sit back with a nice cold beer, a little background music and chill, great for unwinding plus the whole family get to enjoy it, they do take some looking after but for us it's well worth it. |

We have a lazy spa got it last summer £250 .
Still useing it now in it every day.
It's not hugely expensive to run £30/40 a month. We love it wouldn't buy a fiberglass one.they cost £000s and very expensive to repair if they go wrong.
If our lazy spa packs up we just buy a new one £300 job done |

Love my hot tub! I did research before I purchased a good 4 seater tub for £5k . Running costs ok as solar panels help during day and put tub to sleep mode at night! Insulation is good! I do all my own water treatment and maintenance ! Don’t buy a tub that runs off a 13 amp socket ! These cheaper tubs simply can’t keep water up to temp while you use tub! You have to switch between either water heating or bubbles ! |

I mean, definitely not the same chemical but you're right; Bromine is a less harsh chemical, and more tolerant to swings in pH balance. The downside is that its typically more expensive, slower to dissolve, and can make the water look more dull than with chlorine.
For what it's worth if there's a strong chlorine smell that indicates the water isn't clean (because it's busy doing its job, hence the odour), so unless you have sensitive skin chlorine is by no means a bad option |

Got one of the lazi spa ones...unfortunately O doesn't like it too much, so now redundant....cleaned it and put it i to storage maybe one day will get it out again

Try Relax Essex we spoke to them yesterday and they said they had some in stock or Hot Tub Barn in Chelmsford (think they also have a smaller showroom now in one if the Wickford garden centres) got ourS from their two years no issues |

we had the Miami inflatable. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Relaxing and also fun at times but unfortunately hubby kept getting ear infections from the water despite keeping it thoroughly clean. Cant say I really miss it though. |

Fibreglass jacuzzi's with proper insulation are more expencive to buy but will save you lots in electricity in the long run plus they are won't puncture like inflatable can x |

They are very enjoyable but we got rid of ours as we didn't feel it was worth the money in the end. 5 grand to buy (on offer, should have been £7,500). Running costs are not anywhere near what they are sold to be.

Ours is 7 seater fiberglass and it costs between £70 and £120 a month to run being used 12 hours a day roughly so about £25 a week average.
Plus about £5 a month average on chemicals. |

We started with a lazy spa and then after lots of research decided to upgrade and we’ve never looked back
So many fun filled nights naughty & vanilla so worth the pennies, time and maintenance xxx |

They are both different the built in ones being rigid can be hard and uncomfortable at times..also limited jets or air flow..the inflatable ones generally have the air system continuous around the side so everyone benefits..it all depends on what you want.
The inflatable ones can also be packed away in winter...let's face it in the windy wet cold weather of the UK unless you have the luxury to have it indoors or at least covered or sheltered its not the best garden entertainment...Nice when your in but a cold wet windy dash to indoors..?? |

It has a hose pipe connection at the bottom . You connect it and flows out to the drain . |

They make them with soft padded layer so they are really comfy but not big enough for more than 4. We had one at a nice lodge retreat but the larger models are mega pricey |
