Wikipedia is out of date. Crown Prosecution Service guidelines on this were updated a coupleof years ago Look up https://www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance/obscene-publications.
This give the CURRENT guidelines on what constitutes pictures likely to be considered legally obscene.

I've often wondered why watersports photos are considered distasteful, yet a guy can post a photo of his hairy gaping arsehole 
I did have some photos on another profile I have on here, they had been there years, but have recently been removed. |

i keep them private, available to those im speaking to away from here, as and when needed.
that way, i don't get in trouble with fab

If I recall correctly the law recently(2 years ago I think) moved it Into a category of extreme porn along with fisting. Maybe it has something to do with that? |

Recently it’s been relaxed agin, but check this out. As I say it might be and it’s a bit muddy and some could be down to how it’s interpreted. Again, I don’t know just a guess; don’t take me as gospel

I had a photo removed where you could actually only see my back and bare bum!
It was apparently too rude because it included an anal hook that I was wearing at the time!
I think that this site is primarily aimed at swingers rather than kinky people but can be useful for both, I see a lot of profiles and comments from people who are kinky..if only the site would let us share those photos! |

As others have said it's no longer illegal BUT it *is* a grey area open to interpretation when it comes to any of the more extreme sexual activities and therefore the site are (rightly IMHO) playing it safe to avoid straying into legal matters and/or haven't updated the rules since the law was relaxed.
It was only ever illegal if it was "hosted" in the UK too so was a pretty much unworkable law - but if you want to see that sort of video/pic there are a myriad of places you can see it. |

It seems the opinion of the Crown Prosecution Service differs from yours. After reading it very carefully it is quite clear that watersports pics/videos are very unlikely to be deemed obscene in a court of law. The CPS advice is that pics are likely to be deemed obscene if they include any of the following aspects - a. Children b. Animals c. Non consensual sex or d. Medical damage being inflicted ( consensual or otherwise ). So which of these aspects would you say watersports are categorised as ? |
