nope not the drink hehe !!
i got to thinking.... was sex a taboo subject in your house growing up,or were your parents pretty open about the subject? do you think that this contributed to your interest and venture in to swinging ? |

Absolutely no doubt in my case. My Mum could have been cloned from Mary Whitehouse's DNA!!
The more you try to suppress something, the more it will leap up when you take away the thing holding it down.... |

Sex was definitely a taboo subject in my house whilst growing up. I wasn't even allowed to only wear a nightdress, had to have a long dressing gown covering it.
Growing up I never had many sexual relationships, could count them on one hand before I started swinging.
Have always had an interest in the seedier side of life though and exhibitionism but I have been brought up in a rather prim and proper fashion so sometimes I struggle with conflict. I enjoying swinging and going to clubs but part of me feels its taboo and wrong, and I feel so decadent whilst indulging in it.
I am uncomfortable with nudity and always like to keep items of lingerie on. I feel too exposed completely naked and I'm not comfortable with strangers seeing me that exposed.
That said though the pictures I have taken of me completely naked have been extremely liberating and I can cope with those as they are stills, I couldn't walk around a club naked or go to a naturist beach etc.
Soi yes my upbringing does have an impact on my swinging. In real life I am not an overly sexual person, when swinging I'm a diva and an exhibitionist.
I like the contrast of my secret life and that is how I view swinging |

The one and only sex conversation I had with my parents was in light of a school friend falling pregnant. It went like this:
You know I don't agree with that sort of thing (sex outside marriage) but if you are going to do anything, don't get caught!!!
The sum total of all my sex talks with the parents!
Oh, and I was 19 at the time... |

Looking at this as purely a generational question it may have some validity for some to explain away why we do what we do, I think that we forget that 'swinging' has been around for ever as has pornography! I mean any one here watched Sky1's Sparticus?
At the end of the day it's peoples access and curiosity to sex that means we are more open to exploration.
I just wonder where we'd be now if the Greeks, Romans had had the Internet?

The other thing is, I now realise what a miserable sex life my Dad must have had. Poor sod. See it as my duty to make up for it..... |

lived with too many diffrent people growing up so never realy trusted anyone enough to talk about sex,i read a lot though so picked up what i needed to know, and learned the rest.
so determined my kids wouldnt have the same problems i was very open and honest about sex,but guess what they didnt want to talk about it,although they did come to me for advice on contraception,so i must have done something right |

Believe you did. You opened the door for it to be spoken of. Well done! |
