Hello hello guys, question for discussion. I have over 50 on my profile, only met 7. Quite poor ratio I reckon considering I dont add people if i dont see them as meet material. At what point do you have a clean out... |

I dont really add people to my frinds list to be honest i cant see the point in it
Only people i accept are poeple i have met and know personally i dont have anyone on there i havnt met and even then i find a friends list a bit pointless |

Same here. Also if we havent chatting for a while then I just eventually delete them anyway. Probably after a couple of months... |

I question the point of friends list as well if you dont intend on meeting like soon with the person in question hence why i only add people to list after chatting and establishing potential mutual intrest. However it just seems to fade out afterwards. Does this sound like a point to spring clean out? |

Sometimes the meeting soon idea just does'nt work out due to planning and other commitments no matter how much you'd like to arrange something
If the interest is still there then I keep hold of them for a while,if the interest has waned for some reason then I take them off
I don't add loads and I always tell people that quick meets are very unusual for me,if they want to stick around then they can,if they don't want to spend a bit of time finding out more then thats cool with me too |

exactly...sometimes life gets in the way..this past weekend for example...was meant to meet a couple and the ex decided he was not going to pick up the kids until the next day so I had to cancel as I was no longer going to be childfree that night...everyone has different levels of availability and sometimes I can be chatting with someone for months before we actually match schedules...lol |

Sometimes conversation just fades away. Its a very fine balance between knowing someone via chat before meeting and givving the impression thats all you intend to do with them. I guess the word balance is the word for the day. |

On another site there's a couple that, the last time I looked, had 1,178 "friends". In the same ppn as you, that means they've actually met 84 of them. Wow !! |

Actually had a little trim yesterday! Too many timewasters. Plus, there seems to be a lot of attitude on here. What is going on? Whatever happened to just having some fun.
I try as much as possible to keep it down to people I have met or feel there is a real possibility of a meet.. |

We've been here for a little over three years, and in that time built up quite an impressive friends list.
We do have a clear out every now and then, either because someone has not logged in for ages, or we out those may be "pic collectors" and somehow slipped past the guards lol!
We dont just add people we want to play with, we also add those we like chatting to, it helps us keep track of what they are up to, and vice versa, (and not in a "stalkerish" way either lol).
And, just because someone has been on your list for a long time, doesnt mean you will never get to play with them..... as we found out to our pleasant surprise very recently!!!!
