a block away from heaven

I’ve recently been in contact with an old friend who I had the pleasure of meeting on here. After losing touch and not wanting to pursue or add any pressure to meeting contact dwindled. I’ve always held her in high regard and think highly of her as a play mate (sex is fantastic) but also on a friend.

No hard feelings were held or any bad vibes between us and I just put it down to her deciding to leave the lifestyle. Since speaking again it has become apparent that her ex partner (whom she had permission from) became quite negative in regards to our friendship and insisted she cease all contact. I accept this can be something that happens in open relationships. What surprises me is how horrible he was about things. It angers me, as having met him and reassuring me and her that all was okay, he turned quite nasty towards her. Never said anything to me and hasn’t said anything bad about me, but it is disappointing to hear how he treated her.

Has anyone else ever been in a similar situation and what did they do? Now they’ve split I get the urge to confront him when the opportunity allows. In my head it would be quite civil, but knowing what he has said and done to her (no physical harm) I wonder if I would keep my cool

Frimley

Stay out of it regarding him. Just enjoy your new contact with her again. That’s the best way to move forward. He’s probably just got a jealous streak that he couldn’t contain. She’s rid of him now so screw it.
