Probarbly mines. I changed it from what I was looking for as I am not currently looking for meets due to being ill. So instead I chucked on a sex calorie burning guide thing. Random. |

But that could work for a single female at least. I knew a girl on here with a totally blank profile and she felt that it worked as an awesome filter, any reference to her profile meant the message was deleted and those messages she got that didn't tended to make an effort. |

I wouldn't even bother sending a message to a profile like that as I wouldn't have the first idea what the owner would be like and would perhaps assume wrongly that they were either a bloke wanting to take the piss or a curious lass who came home smashed one night and created a profile, nodded off and completely forgot about it the next day.
To be fair a profile like that would out the copy and paste brigade a treat, sure. But a far better filter would be asking them to put a certain word or subject into the message they sent. As it stood she may receive less messages from the men she wanted and more from the idiots and chancers, meaning that ever more of her time is spent deleting messages. In fact if she had a particular turn on then asking them to chat about it in their opening message would firmly separate those that a) hadn't read the profile b) those without imagination and c) those who may just float her boat....the messages from type c would probably be more of a pleasure for her to read.... |

Probably the ones where it's fill in later, just joined (member since 1925), and then there's a page of graphical 'sex' symbols - I have seen several pages on some profiles. I have absolutely no clue what someone thinks that adds. |

I believe fervently in intentional community and may one day be lucky enough to live within one again. That this be in a polyamorous context would be heaven on earth for me. I want this so much that I have radically changed my priorities and expanded the types of people I am willing to connect with. Polyamory without versatility and flexibility is a hard road, I think.

That profile came up on another site as a perfect match for me.
Even after looking it up and picking the brains of some fine intellectuals, none of us are 100% sure about intentional communities.
The site this came from is the complete opposite of pof and everyone on it thinks they are some kind of pseudo intellectual philosopher.
I then took a look at the pics on her profile and thought

Mine is boring I know, it reads like a shopping list but ultimately that's what I'm doing, shopping for a nice fit guy.
I've changed it and changed it over the years, from a chatty welcoming inviting one to a blank monosylabic one to a humerous roll around on floor one .... they all got ignored so this is how it ended up.
I may introduce a bit of humour again now ... maybe even get photo verified as it's all everyone wants! |

I been told mine is like reading war and peace it takes so long to read lol but its my profile and as long as its not abusive or offensive I think I should be able to put it togetheg in what ever way I wish to. Men will either read a profile or they wont, many don't read it but even if I changed it to two lines they be some that wont read it anyway  |

Its our way of sticking 2 fingers up to the couple who said we take ourselves too seriously as we wouldnt meet them. They left the site shortly after reading the message inviting them to take another look and doing so.

I don't see why it shouldn't guys, your pics depict you like a cheerful and canny-looking pair, and anyone who doesn't appreciate a sense of humour in swinging is wasting their time IMO. And anyone who can't tell your profile is written tongue in cheek clearly lacks the mental capacity you would want in a prospective meet anyway?
I'm sure your luck will change tbh, I'm sure I'd greatly enjoy your company and for that matter I think plenty of females I know may too!

The most boring I've seen is as already mentioned just "..." nothing else, felt like blocking it...... but then remembered I'm single bloke so can't afford to do things like that, and if it got out it would ruin the reputation of all single men! God forbid.
The best one I've seen recently has to be .pride's absolutely brilliant! Well done things are obviously on the up and up for our northern cousins.
