Honest question

Hi I have a honest question.

As I’ve only recently been allowed to join the forums as waited seven days I’ve been sat back reading them. There seems to be quite a lot of animosity to some people or questions they ask and almost “teams” forming where people seem to back each other up. I would say, in only my opinion, some of it is quite nasty.

So the question is does that happen in clubs. Obviously if people are “out of order” then I understand it but do clubs have cliques of regulars that are impossible to ever be accepted of or does the “queen bee” or “king” attitude happen there?

If we all had the same opinion life would be incredibly boring.

In the ones we went to you can tell who are the regulars as a few groups form but there are plenty of people there and we found everyone to be accepting.

I would say it's easier as a couple tho as we found a normal night when all are welcome but large amount of single men are very in your face and alot there so must be tough for news guys to be let in

Welcome to fab and the forum .

I can't answer your question as we don't go to clubs.

I'm sorry that this is your first impression of the forums though.

I don’t think it happens on here that often and I have seen cliques at clubs but no animosity.

If you reply to a post about the best way to make tea (see today) you’ll get some good natured banter, yes some will know each other, so any input from yourself may appear to be ignored. But if it’s witty enough you’ll get some feedback.

However go into a more serious subject and have a controversial opinion, yes you’ll have to defend your position.

Would this happen in clubs, probably. Are there cliques in clubs, yes obviously. Would they take against a new person just trying to fit in and learn the ropes, I doubt it never seen it, but who knows.

Hope this helps and makes this site and clubs a little bit more inviting

It is the Internet, expect it here too, some can be down right horrid but not everyone so best to ignore them and not respond.

It is a clicky scene and some clubs it is very uncomfortable and blatent. "You're not one of us" as a Peter Gabriel lyric once put very well.

Rise above it..
