I just found out one of my very good friends here have had meets during this lockdown and it somehow put me off them. Are my being too sensitive or overbearing since this is really not my business. Thoughts anyone? |

Has your friend or the person they have met shown symptoms? Are they classed as vulnerable? Have they just had a social meet and kept 2m apart?
It may be considered irresponsible but it's likely no damage has been done. |

There are always people that break the rules/laws
You only have to look at high profile politicians, scientist and well known celebrity chefs
I guess people follow them
Just as well most of us don’t |

And it's because of those selfish people that things will take longer to get back to normal. Are they special that they don't need to adhere to these rules. Looks at the bigger picture here...the government are ploughing millions into furlough schemes, supporting councils, the NHS, TV advertising etc, doesn't this tell you that this is fucking serious. This will not end tomorrow or next week. Only we can speed this up and that's by following what we've been asked to do. There will be a second wave and if history repeats itself (which it tends to do) then we'll end up in another lockdown, which was mentioned today in the daily briefing. |
