I read yesterday that prolonged social distancing along with proactive testing for anyone with symptoms could eliminate some STI's for ever. Now that would be a silver lining from this Covid nonsense wouldn't it? |

Unless you don't get tested so you don't know about them so when you get released back into the wild you start spreading them. It would be a really good time for every one to order the home testing kit and get treated for any sti's it would certainly help bring the numbers down. |

Sadly many people think that using condoms means they dont need testing.
I'm due for testing now. Well over due for me. But as I've only had one person in 7 weeks I'm not overly worried at missing it. But am trying to get one. As would cover me for my last week at clubs before we locked down |

And some think they've developed herd immunity and convince themselves that they don't need to wear condoms at all! ;( |

It's possible, but of course it requires those in higher risk categories to get tested and then get treatment. Abstaining is the easy part right now!  |
