Sending Face Picture

Hi guys, Were leaving the site due to not having any luck and fed up with fakers.
Before we go we would just like to know at what point do you send your face pics and what do people think is the % rate of real people.

I have a face pic on my profile so no need to send one...however if i did not have one i would send it after a couple of messages or send it if asked |

If someone makes contact with me I'd expect one in the first or second msg.

I dont know, personally id way up the pros and cons. For me, although it wouldt be nice if someone "outed" me, it wouldnt affect my life and i have nothing on my profile photos that i wouldnt want my mum to see.
The thing is when do you know someone is going to be descrete, i guess they could be players and then after quite a few messages you send the photo, same is going to happen as if you send photo with first message.
I guess its up to the individual to work out the plus's and negatives of sending out there photos and when |

Yes and they say they will email one, i really cant see the difference in that to having one hidden on here. Apart from it being a ploy to get yor email address. I cant be doing with all that fartig about, plenty on here with face pictures |

In answer to your question, I'd have thought that sending a face pic with the first or second message would be right, else people may start to think that you yourself are fakes.
It's interesting that you've been here 10 months and say that your leaving because of not having any luck and fed up with fakers. It would be good to explore with you via the forum why that is happening as the site clearly works for many.
On a personal basis, all bar one of the people I have listed as friends are people I actually met in a club before adding them as a friend, the other was actually a response to a forum thread and after a couple of messages I asked them to add me as a friend.
I find the site works on several levels, first when at a club, asking people if they are on Fab (or other sites) and if they say yes and we have got chatting at the club, exchanging user names and getting added. Secondly, on responding to threads such as this, building up some credability and then taking things further and thridly simply chatting to people in the chat room, though I don't use that facility that often on this site.
I have to say that so far I don't think I have found a fake but in the same breath i guess my targets are different to yours in that if and when I do message someone it's either a single lady or a couple whom by default have accepted messages off single males |

I'm happy to send a face shot when I'm comfortable that a) we are likely to get on and b) I feel the other person will respect that this is a private photo.
I do like to 'see' who I'm talking to though |

We always attach a face pic with our first message if we have chosen to initiate contact.
Same as if someone chooses to contact us then we would expect them to attach one.

Thanks for your reply. When we first joined the site we did send out a fair amount of messages to single females with very little response.
There was a single female after a couple of months of being on the site that seem to tick the boxes but after some chat decided that it was not a match.
We have had lots of intrest from couples that we are greatful of but as its our first time with envolving others
we were hoping to enter this gently.
Over the past week we have sent out many messages to females giving it one more shot but most some of them have said that they are intrested, get so far into the conversation then nothing.
We have decided that the best way to find a single female would be to pay for it lol Only joking. It would be going to clubs as what you see is what you get.
As for couples looking for couples on here we believe that its a very good site. |

What's the difference of pics on here or pics on text/ email? I don't have face pics on here, I only send via email or text. I really don't understand what the issue is???? |

By giving my phone number out that gives a person opportunity to contact me throughout the day when I'm not online (I can't be arsed with a play phone, have had no probs with the folk I message having my number eventually)....I don't give my email out either as it reveals my proper name and again I can't be arsed with having a play email....you ask what's the diff with sending pix by email or text - it gives potential nutters/playmates 3 ways to hassle/contact me - I respond with what's the diff to uploading a face pic to private on Fab - it's not like Sydney Uni are gonna get it  |

Being a guy I often send them straight away hopefully to show i'm genuine.
But always careful and aware of friends /family around
I dont think you can exspect any proper chat or a meeting without being sure people are not fakes

For me.... I'm not going to give out any personal contact info until I am actually arranging to meet.
Dont understant those who don't have at least one face pic on here to send. Especially with the option to keep it private and only be available to send by mail |

yep agree,,if not on here,then dont want to know email/phone numbers.
we have face pics,but only send after 2-3 mails and a mett has been arranged |

Fair enough. I have a play phone and play email so no risk having someone bombard me on those. I think I'm just a tab paranoid, only my fb has my real phone number.
I wouldn't arrange a meet with someone that I hadn't seen a face pic of. But everyone's different.  |

We dont send them.. they are on our profile.. we like to know ASAP what people actually look like so we can A; know who we are talking to and B; know that we fancy them |

Folk often slate single guys for not reading profiles and I do have over 200 on my block list, but there's a good handful of couples who either don't read my profile or may be a bit arrogant and think my request doesn't/shouldn't apply to them 
I've been stood up once on here by a single guy, and messed around by a single fem and a couple so proportionately probably the single guys I've met are the best non-timewasters for me
