Who likes to visit UK naturist beaches? I've been to some in France and Spain. but never in the UK. |

We're bit far from Studland. It's lovely down there and we normal pop down a couple of times a year. Problem is it's a long walk and no facilities. We tend to go to a local naturist club as it's really close and great facilities. |

At Studland, there are NT wardens patrolling to discourage any "activities" because it`s a family naturist beach. In practice, the wardens can be lazy and simply walk along the beach rather than through the dunes.
Yes, there`s activity, yes, there`s loads of single guys about but the good ones keep a watch out but officially it`s a no-no and you can upset the purists. |

yes it's a great beach my ex wife and I used to go there alot but I'm not sure there as a single guy as people may get the wrong idea of why I was there.

Love to visit in the summer. There is a couple within an hours drive. Leysdown on the Isle of Sheppy and Fairlight.
Sheepy is closer so usually end up there. Very mixed crowd. But everyone friendly. |

We get upset when we hear about people playing at Studland.
A bit of flashing is ok but it's a big NT area and if playing gets out of hand the naturist beach will be gone for good.
They have threatened to do it before.
Walk back, cross the road and there's loads of room to do what you want, away from families and NT wardens.

Studland in Dorset....lovely beach and fun in the dunes. We were having a play and the next thing we knew about six guys were watching us and wanking. That was a turn on so we put on a bit of a show for them and they went away satisfied!!! Hoping to try Holkham this year when the lockdown ends!! X |

They're are a few but as had been said they are naturist beaches not swinging beaches so please don't mix them up as local authorities only need a small excuse and they will close them down.
We use corralejo, cap and GC as you can guarantee the weather but again naturists are not all swingers. |

IIRC there was two factors in the original near closure of Studland. Primarily it was gay men being very much out there with their behaviour. Secondly, the local NT manager had his own views on how the whole village should be run and upset virtually everybody in the village, wanting to close this, restrict that, almost coming to blows with residents and the like. In the end he was moved on and there was an influx of new NT members who fought tooth and nail to keep the beach as it was. In the end, the naturist area was reduced to about a third in size. Would it come as any surprise that the new NT members were naturists? |

I am making it a priority to visit Studland when it's safe and all of our restrictions are lifted.
My most local beach is St Osyth but to be honest the amount of perverts that I have seen that seem to think it's ok to basically move in on couples and females as soon as they arrive is extremely off putting and makes me extremely angry, some people genuinely just want to crash out in the sun for a few hours without any bother, me being one of them.
I have no problem with genuine social interaction and conversation (when permitted) with no expectation of anything else, but certain individuals and am sorry to say the majority of males that frequent that beach sometimes make it a stressful day
I tend to only venture to the very beginning of the beach where at one time you were left alone in peace.
I am going to make the beach in Shellness a priority as soon as it's safe as I've read some positive reports in regards to that one.
If anyone in the South East (Essex) knows of any other places where you can simply catch a few days then please let me know, I just love lying in the sun.

We have been to the one in Holkham but it's a bit colder than going to cap d'agde but might be all we can do this year.
There is also a naturist place in Cambridge by the river which is more sheltered than the sea side and we go there when we can |

Nothing quite like the long walk from the dunes to the water front at Holkham when she's covered with and leaking strangers cum! On a hot day one of the best beaches ever pine trees dunes and beautiful sandy wide open huge beach. |

I have read it's pretty laid back with quite a balanced selection of singles and couples.
Is there plenty of room to find a spot so you're not on top of one another?
And are there many problematic males there like St Osyth?
And is it best to arrive early to get a good spot?
So sorry for all the questions but as it's your local beach you are definitely the people to ask to get a honest review.
What I like about it is that you can apparently drive right up to the beach, most others seem to be a bit of a hike. |

There was one at fraisthorpe near Bridlington turn right on the beach about quarter of a mile but not sure if it still is but you can check on Google bn British naturists site. |

We almost lost Morfa Dyffryn about 25 years ago. It ended up being marked by signs, with a much smaller length than before. Still a lovely beach though. On a nice day the naturist section is much busier than the rest. |

I think so. There was a major heath fire in the area which closed some roads but I think all are open now with the exception of the Studland Ferry. It was damaged in a freak accident when it was under repairs. I`m not sure if the NT car parks are open but the fire point will be available. |

Agree are first ever naturist beach we stumbled on by accident in corfu. We hired a car and pulled into a carpark at the top of some cliffs. The beach at the bottom looked amazing and there was a lot of steps down to the beach... So we grabbed all our gear, hired to sun loungers for the day and stated to relax for the day about an hour in S said "everyone's naked" we looked at each other and said "oh well when in Rome so to speak" never looked back we returned to that beach for a soild 7 days |

Arrived at Studland today around 1.00pm and it was full! Shell Bay car park full, Knoll Beach car park full and no roadside parking for a mile and a halfback towards the village.

I stopped sitting by the gay side as too many men kept chatting to us mistaking us for this 'performing' couple. So we tried the non gay side to the right and it was full of Textile famillies and dogs. Speed boats etc. Too much advertising on TV ruined the beach. |

Trick question? I go to Studland for peace and quiet and oh course nude as it's a naturist beach so we need to represent it as what it is, right? People weren't keeping their clothes on because it was cold as the weather was over 24 degrees today |

I know, just didn't make any sense. Plus you need to walk nearly a mile to get there and there's clear signs stating what type of beach it is. Afew families came by speed boat. Maybe they thought it won't be busy being a nudist beach. I'm going today so I report back how busy it is is Textiles people |

It's our experience that guys often guide their families near to or onto naturist beaches in order to get an eyeful.
Our local naturist beach in Spain, Ambolo, is full of textiles in the summer. But we still strip off. |

Sadly there are no official naturist beaches close to Edinburgh. There are a few quiet spots in the dunes near Aberlady sheltered out of the wind. It’s such a pity as there is nothing nicer than being naked in the sun and cooling off with a nice skinny dip. |

Was not a trick question. You said Studland was full of people wearing clothes so was curious that's all. I have never been and learning new things from this thread on all the different locations mentioned. Plus good way for me to add to my go to 2021 destination list. Make up for lost time and all that!

Yes very important to get your vitamin D3... Studland is back to how it usually is, crystal clear waters, quiet lapping of the waves and peaceful naturists everywhere scattered quietly along the edge of the dunes... Now i am happy. Extremely hot for me. Feels like over 26 degrees here. |

As a rule, even if it`s a really nice day, Studland would NEVER be as busy as it was yesterday given the time of year and it being mid-week. I`m glad I didn`t find a parking space yesterday as I think I would have been either a curiosity or something like that. Most people think naturists are perves or loonys and I wasn`t prepared to be the subject of derisory comments. |

Everything was going so good Today at Studland until in the afternoon, Textile people turned up and congregated together talking really loud for ages. Then speed boats appeared with really noisy kids messing around in the water. Textiles people bringing all their seaside equipment parking themselves right by the water. The true naturists position themselves up by the dunes, quietly sunbathing and going for a pleasant stroll... |

I live very close to a brilliant nudist beach in Tenerife. From sunbathing and swimming naked amongst other nudists to spending a day in a stone circle or dunes. I've had some great fun and met brilliant folk whom I've met regularly - discreet outdoor fun and spending time with like minded people doesn't get much better!
Can't wait to be able to spend time on the beach again soon... |

I went there 6 years ago. I was so in my element strolling naked along the nudist beach,that I hadn’t realised that I had strayed onto a textile beach up the coast!

I go to one in Greece on my own, never had any problems. Within a couple of days I usually end up talking to loads of people. You do get the odd one walking around the dunes pulling his cock though ( do be one of those)

Went to Morfa Dyffryn last summer on a glorious day on the motorcycle from Yorkshire. Wow what a beach. I was the only one naked with a motorcycle helmet and suit on the beach that day. I loved it and will go again. Other singles or couples that ride wanna join me??

We have never seen sexual activity on a family nayurist beach even in gran canaria and cap d agde. Yes it happens but usually in dunes out of sight or in areas out of the way an generally known to the swinging community and the local pervs . To be fair it does seem to be segregated and if you are in an area of sexual activity its because you know where to find it . Very rare you just stumble across it. We enjoy naturism as much as anyone and detest people who suggest naturist are perverts. |

I used to stay at the gay end of Studland as I didn't want to be bothered whilst sunbathing but recently I had too many men bothering me when I litterly go there for peace and quiet. If i want fun, I will initiate and definitely never do it at a nudist beach |
