What do you think you can do to change this?
The sympathy approach rarely works.
As one of thousands of single men on fab, you have to put on the effort. Be pro-active.
Message people. Try and strike up a conversation.

That is very good advice. As a singke guy you'll always be on the back foot on here.
I was in a similar position, and without wanting to sound self pitying, I'm not the most attractive guy on here by a long way. Skinny and bespectacled aren't what most are seeking, and after many years of trying I 'reconsidered' how I used the site, and these days mainly come here to read the forums. I do still send occasional messages, but not often. I didn't want to walk away altogether, and I still like clubs, but found that I was just constantly setting myself up for a fall. Its about being realistic and managing your expectations. Expect nothing and anything is a bonus. |

I understand that I am only appealing to a very specific type of person, but would like to chat to so many more. However, if I am not their bag, then I won't let it get me down. I have recently discovered and started enjoying the forums and keeping it at that. If I get approached then it is a huge bonus and very welcome |

A good way of charting is to actually use the chat rooms takes a while to get in the flow but you get to have conversations invites to parties and socials .. I organise charity socials annually and single men are always welcome we have made some fantastic single men friends who we have known for years you get out what you put in sometimes just sending random messages doesn’t do it most women !!! |
