My meets are usually planned a few days in advance (usually a group thing). With that, you can watch what you eat prior, time your last meal properly, know how, when and how much to clean out before. It might remove the spontaneity but I don't particularly go in for spontaneous meets. If I do, it doesn't tend to include anal.

Exactly, I really laughed at some of the responses in this thread, mainly because I fall into the 'shit happens' category while my wife falls in the  category

I’ve pegged a guy before - an incredibly hot one - but it was rather messy (he certainly didn’t mind though as he was rather lost in the moment). Wouldn't do anal sex with a one off anyway, always a regular partner and if he can't cope with the risk of a bit of poo then he can't stick it in my anus!
I used to always douche and it put pressure on the situation and I found it made me sore. I don't bother now after a previous fwb told me not to stress about it.

I enjoy Anal sex and always douche and clean but accidents do happen. It's embarrassing but it's a fact of life.
Before Covid, you'd be getting ready to go out about 8.00 pm, meet friends or whoever, go to a pub / club and if you end up having sex that night it could be more than 6 hours after you cleaned. In the meantime you've eaten more food.
