whos sends a message then deletes profile

just received a message so i clicked on it and the user had been deleted. the message was only sent 2 mins ago i just dont get it??????

Perhaps they were reported as a timewaster/fake and admin deleted their profile so you had a narrow escape!

Well I had a guy there, seemed quite genuine, asked if I fancied going for a coffee/pint and we organised a time, swapped photos and in the space of 10 minutes the profile is deleted... Something I said?

I get them all the time .. I go in to read mail and it says user no longer on site

Wife comes home ... gets cold feet ... etc etc so many scenarios I prefer got abducted by aliens but deleted profile first

i had this once,, tho wasnt a message i really wanted it was someone i obviously knew under a different name.. some ppl use what we call a "ghost" profile..sad but true..annoying tho. they use them to either abuse, or secretly admire,, why cant people just be up front instead of sneaky!?
