can we name and shame timewasters to make this sight better ?we know you contact someone and swap pics and if the attraction is not there ,,but to arrange to meet go out your way and drive miles and theres nobody there ...what about a star rating with people who meet not cam as half the camers don,t meet

You obviously have not seen this thread which appears regularly, and the answer is still the same.

Not everyone is perfect on this site and others. People do arrange to meet and then for some reason or another, do not turn up. Genuine reasons for doing so do crop up, but for the other party, they will feel aggrieved.

But just how would such a scheme be "policed"? Just because you may view someone as a timewaster, that is your view, but it may well not be the same for others.

A name and shame policy will not work; it is impossible to administrate.

So, if you have "suffered" as such, the best advice is to move on and forget about it! Yes it is maddening, but it is an unfortunate side of this site and you will never get away from it.

As others have said it would never work. Infact it would be horrendous.

If you only encounter the occassional one accept that we all get caught out occassionally. If it's more than the occassional one then maybe ask if you could be doing something different?

I know you're not allowed to name and shame on here, but maybe the admin could make a stand and use a 3 strike rule, if you report to admin that you have become a 'victim' of a timewaster, they could record that persons ID and if they see that persons ID has been reported 3 times then they get permanently banned, and I don't just mean thrown off the site, I am talking banning their ISP address. Of course only admin would be able to see these records, or something along those lines. How difficult this would be to put into action I don't know.

Sorry, it would still be unworkable! Look at it this way, as an example, I could send in three reports about yourselves about timewasting, but in reality, have never met you before in my life!

So by your plan, that would get you banned for life via their ISP address, through no fault of your own.

But have you thought that there are loads of ISP providers? Just getting someone banned on one would mean they'd shift to another ISP.

Dont see how that would work when people get called timewasters for not answering messages, chatting then saying they dont want to meet, not sending pics, deleting mail, blocking someone, not wanting to meet again etc etc

Yes you could easily report me to admin 3 times, that is a flaw I didn't think of, but I guess a way of stopping that would be that the timewaster would have to be reported by 3 different people, and yes I know you can make 3 different profiles and use each one, but your ISP address would be the same, (wouldn't it, I'm not a techy so I wouldn't know, lol)

You can report a profile as a no show. I suspect that they need more than one report, but if nothign else it always helps me doing it. Kind of like a 'stand me up will you??' reaction, but without the site ban.

I use exactly the same definition, but you have only to read profiles and posts on here to see how easily people get called timewasters...

And there is already the mechanism for reporting people who dont turn up to meets to Admin....not sure how they can verify how accurate this is though and I personally dont see the point of it because its always going to be one persons word against another.

Agree real timewasters must be a pain in the arse but not sure there is a fool-proof way to deal with it, other than having a thick skin and a bit of common sense.

it is something like negative verifications that could be use by someone who is vendictive.. or has a different agenda.... its just too open to any abuse of the system....

in reality.. you can use the block function.. or you can use the private notes feature.... that way at least you know!!!

The Best way to rise above time wasters is as follows,

Block them and make a note of there User name etc.

But in all fairness you tend to find with some real Time wasters that you have let your guard down somewhere....

Exchanging photos is easy, but talking to each other on the phone is something else if you both agree to meet somewhere mutual ask them a few questions about the place your meeting at....

Some people get carried away and then wish they hadnt and so a No show at a meet is there way of backing out of it.

The sad thing is as with all Adult Swinging sites and Fetish sites there are people who day dream and fantasise but who will never wish to do more than that.... Alas they may 'con' you into a meet...

If Jayne and I agree to meet someone in a pub and they dont show after Half hour no texts or anything then we have a few more drinks or chat enjoy the mini evening out and head home....

Well said Mark. Gee usually gets pissed because we have taken time to find babysitter etc then an hour plus for her to get ready etc for someone to not show.

we usually accept they have bottled it as meeting a couple can be intimidating. we head home and I get the benifit of her wardrobe choice and horniness.

As far as naming we attend alot of socials and couples talk so alot of no show names get brought up while discussing the finer points of swinging lol. so you can pick up quite a bit of intel on the dreamers there.

Banning ip addresses wouldnt work either coz they can be changed and a lot of people no longer have static ip addresses.

You just have to becareful in ur choices , although this isnt always going to work either .

I agree with the above, I get called a timewaster on a daily basis even though I have changed my profile to no meets. Go figure, and if its not that im a timewaster, its I am a slagg for meeting more than one guy from the site. I hardly meet due to being a single parent, work, social life, etc. So Im not on looking to speak to every tom, dick and harry.
