Soooo, I'm aware there are a tonne of similar threads, but I figure hey, what's one more. 
I have found that the only people who message me or wink are those I clearly say I'm not looking for. I know some folk read profiles and some don't, some just chance their luck, etc.; I'm not particularly annoyed by it as I'm not in a rush for meets, I'm quite happy ambling along until whatever happens happens. I am wondering though if my profile is misrepresenting me. I know it's a bit wordy, and I've chosen only a few pictures, but perhaps it could be improved. Regarding my veris, I had one social with a woman, and went to a group social, but that's all so far.
Basically, I'm curious for an outside perspective on my profile, since I'm not really attracting anyone I'd prefer to.

If you're getting messages from guys or couple's you can just block them if that helps?
I wouldn't message you because you state you're not looking for men, but I know there's guys that will just message you anyway, so maybe block those you don't want to hear from.

Consider changing your profile to "gay" and contextualising that in the profile text, if you're only looking for women ("I'm actually bi but as far as anyone here's concerned I'm as gay as it comes - I'm strictly only looking to meet women."). People you're not interested in will skim that part and hopefully realise they're not in for a chance (nobody reads profiles).
On Fabs bisexuality is seen deeply through the male gaze ("unicorns"), you'll unfortunately be seen as potential for fulfilling the fantasies of couples. |

I already have men and couples blocked for the reasons suggested, the messages and winks I get are from women and TVs, especially the latter. I specify on my profile I only have TV/TS ticked to include trans women - since I know some choose to join under that category - because I'm not seeking men. Cross-dressing men contact me endlessly however, whose profiles are nothing like what I want. Yet if I change my profile to gay and exclude that category altogether, I'm potentially missing out on meeting trans or non-binary women. Of the women who message, it's the same; exactly the opposite of what my profile says I'm into.
I am contacted by people who won't travel but live mega far away, the 'meet now' crowd, women who want their man involved, some into 420 friendly meets, people who give me literally nothing to go on conversation wise (three word replies etc.), biphobes...
I don't know if I'm just considered too particular, or if fewer people than I expected actually read profile text. |
