It’s now been 6 years since I suffered often in silence with anxiety and mania. Happily now I am fine and on no medication and very happy with life and myself. Just wanted to say to those out their suffering in silence there is a way forward and you will make it. Happy fabbing!

Sharing tips to beat/control/manage I'd appreciate it.

Struggle with cptsd flare ups. Had emdr n counselling..

Love to know 1 or 2 of your secrets

Ive suffered the last 12 months, was suicidal in the summer. Im on new meds that are helping, not had a drink for 7 months and been diagnosed with severe sleep apnoea, now have a cpap machine and im like a different person. Its okay to not be okay x

I have to agree with that. I came off it when i was bad as like any other social media it all adds to the stress x

Used headspace app..

Not tried yoga... Will see what's in my local area.. X

Random but did u have to inform the DVLA about the apnoea ?

Brilliant to hear some of the posts on here. The biggest step is getting the initial help that is needed, but unfortunately for some they don’t get that help. Don’t bottle it up fabbers. It’s good to talk xx

I suffer with high anxiety and depression, been on medication for 6 years and have noticed they're not helping much these days, I used to suffer in silence but decided to get help and I'm so glad I did!! Its better to be open about stuff instead of bottling things up

MHFA England is worth a Google for anyone effected or wishing to make a difference.

Anyone can be effected even those who consider themselves mentally healthy.

He is a Mental Health first Aider in and out of the workplace and would recommend that anyone has the opportunity to to get on one of their courses as they are very good

I've been there before and crawled out the hole.

Unfortunately I've fallen down it again the last few weeks for various reasons.

I know what I need to do and I'm sure I'll crawl back out again, will just take time.

In reality unless your about to jump off a bridge and getting sectioned,

Its a

lonely journey for help out there not many services due to cutbacks. Dont panic there's alot of online stuff self help but the Internet is not your best friend.
