Been here a while and just been looking at friends list posts to check if it's ever been asked.
Can't see so apologies if it has.
Question is who if anyone displays their friends list, or may you don't now but there was a time you did?
I've spend a few mins looking at profiles locally and didn't find one.
Would there ever be a reason why you would and if so for what reason? |

Oh I can see that as it's open by default I assume. Like many other features. Guess better for traffic on fab if their all open. |

So far no good reason to display it that I can see.
Mine is kept small anyway for a few reasons, mainly only those I meet. So again a reason why I wouldn't display them either. |

Not showing them makes fab life easier.
Many users on the site have fab stalkers who look to see who's meeting who and who's friends with who to the point it's unhealthy. |

telling others what you do is in the case of a man ungentlemanly and a woman bragging either way not good, keep what you do to yourself   |

I often see profiles with their friends lists showing. What I wonder is when there is 20 plus - realistically how many of those do they actually chat too and meet ?
My friends list has never been in double figures let alone 20 plus |

A good reason to show them is if you just wanted to let the ladies know what calibre of woman you're dealing with but that would prob go against in you some way when they start comparing themselves & doing the paranoid thing where they don’t feel there good enough

A good valid point and probably a right conclusion to. Not everyone one thinks the same about standards and calibre either. The paranoid this is very prevalent and not just with ladies. |

People on here read too much into things. I host events & have lots of fab friends as most of them are either club friends or event guests ... but as someone said above, that could be seen as bragging 
I don’t see a reason for it, as discretion is a key thing on here; if someone wants to find my profile, it’s not difficult to search. I’m not sure why tracking it down through a third party is needed! |

I guess it can also be seen as the stakes are too high. The connections that people have can be both a positive in that one looks to be seen to move in certain circles yet conversely one may want to avoid said circles. |

Thanks everyone for contributions. Sometimes the obvious is just that, but the reasons may be different and was wondering if I'd missed a good use in why it's set open and available for display. |
