Picture ideas and profile.

Hi all, hope everyone's having a good night.

I'm looking for some ideas on pictures that women would like to see and some profile advice as I think what I tried to go for is a bit different, but I'm not sure it really does what I intended Lol so if you lovely people wouldn't mind checking it out and let me know, that would be good. Thanks!

Ps I'm not going to ask then completely ignore the advice, like 90% of men who make these do.

Also know the first one will be smile in pictures, but I have a hard job making it look natural and it just comes out forced - think the Joker from batman lol

In a Scouse accent? I'm really not sure that'll have the desired effect

Cheers for the reply. Yeah I thought about getting the suit out but I literally never wear it seems like false advertisement.

If you'd like me to be brutally honest, I was getting bored halfway through the first paragraph.

I get that you're trying to go for originality, but in my experience (that goes back 6 or 7 years) there are a lot of people who seem to struggle to read profiles a third of the length of yours.

Yes, this is not something that only us men are guilty of. I've had women and couples in the past message me who clearly haven't read my profile. Not even part of it. Still happens now.

Also consider that most of those who view your profile are going to be those whom you are sending messages to. They'll want to look at your profile first before thinking about reading any message. It's all about grabbing their attention.

You have to think of it in the same way a s a good book. If the author hasn't captured the reader halfway through the first page then it's usually a struggle to get them to stay for the rest of the book.

I was struggling to see what anyone reading it would see that they would be getting out of a meet with you. You're not even pretending to be able to offer anyone any particular experiences, it's very much about what you're hoping to get out of fab and what you're hoping to learn.

Yes, we all gotta start somewhere, but you'll find that most of us on fab are looking for awesome experiences, not holding the hand of newbies as they start their journeys. Harsh maybe, but true.

10 out of 10 for effort though.

Not harsh I appreciate it. Yeah might have been a bit of an ambitious attempt in a world where everyone's attention spans are short.

I see, so more about what I can offer?

I felt really bad about criticising your profile after having seen how much effort you'd put into it, but then again, I also felt that because of the effort you HAD put in, I thought that the least I could do was to be straight with you about it.

If every single bloke put in the effort you clearly have then complaints about men on fab would be a thing of the past.

I applaud you sir, and wish you all the very best success.

Cheers no I took it constructively so no worries! I've had another go at it with what you said in mind.

Much easier to digest now, and whilst it's shorter and punchier, you're also providing far more information about yourself.

One thing that you will find, the longer you're on fab, is that from time to time, you will go back to it and tweak around the edges a bit.

Kinda picks up on what someone was saying the other day about getting profile views from other men and wondering why, and as someone said, many of us do so to check out the competition, and to get ideas. I don't mean to directly copy something, but maybe general layout ideas and such.

It's a natural thing to do, and it helps you feel like you're keeping things fresh too

Yeah I've checked a few out as well to see what they said and it's why I tried to go in a completely new direction but that had it's own problems. I'll keep adding to it as I go, like you say it's an evolving thing. Thanks again for the help
