Hey folk, ok so probably not the most PC of subjects but advice needed!
We’re booked to go to our first ever party tonight (whoop) and I’m due on!
Well tell a lie I’m 9 days late (thanks to pcos my body does what it likes whenever the fuck it likes!) so I should have been done and dusted and free to play by now.
So while I’m not technically on I’m very close to being (symptomatic)
It doesn’t limit soft play I guess but should I risk it?
My biggest concern is I get a sense of “it’s not gonna happen tonight” play away and then bamn it happens while I’m there
Ah the embarrassment.......

Go.. Enjoy the social and perhaps some soft play... And just.. Take a preventative precaution and use a tampon or cup etc... Just make sure you mention that you are on soft swap only for moment. You could have alot of fun still and possibly meet some lovely people ans enjoy the social too. |

I have PCOS, and it makes arranging future dates an absolute shitshow.
Someone on here recommended Beppy sponge tampons and they have been a godsend for me. They're a nightmare to use initially, getting them placed right and trying to remove them, but I got the hang of them really quickly.
It's not much help right now because I've not seen them in the shops (I got mine on ebay), but worth considering for future. |

Apparently taking ibuprofen can help delay things. I haven't tried it but I'm sure a quick search on here or Google will tell you what dose to use.

Don't forget the brain is the greatest sex organ and it, of course, will not be affected...!! I realize it stops the obvious sex act between a man and a woman but there is so much else to do....good snog ?!!! |

I’ll try that anyway because even if it doesn’t delay things it’ll help make the cramps feck off! x |
