So have been experimenting with shibari rope bondage but finding good sites for tutorials is hard or maybe I'm not looking in the right places. Anyone can point me in the direction of good websites would be much appreciated. |

A couple of things that will help, look up two knotty boys, lots of online tutorials and you can nuy their books. Also worth joining that well known fetish site we shouldnt mention on here (fet life)...ops it slipped lol and look up rope groups and events. You should find something happening in Edinburgh. PM us if you want to know whats happening where in the world of kink g |

What level are you at ? I’m no expert but started by watching you tube videos of how to store ropes and the basic knots and got really good at making them neat. Then I use bondage tape to experiment with the positions I want to create first before re creating with rope |

You may be better off attending a workshop to help get the basics right. My husband attended one in London and felt it was really worth it. You get to practice in a safe space and with an experienced rigger |

As other have said, there's no substitute for in-person learning, especially in matters of safety.
However, two sites with well-regarded tutorials you may wish to take a look at are "Crash Restraints" and "The Duchy" (google those terms and add "bondage" to find them).
Hopefully it goes without saying that it really isn't safe at all to attempt suspension without having learnt from an actual person who knows about doing it safely.

By coincidence we had this conversation with a couple on Wednesday, they wanted to know more and we suggested learning it in person on a course / evening / club night.
Although it’s not our thing, we’ve found the community really helpful and generous at explaining it all, and particularly re suspension it’s not worth taking a chance getting it wrong. |

There are lots of groups. I teach lots of people do workshops and personal tuition.
Depending on where you are, London Birmingham, Nottingham all have big rope communities and there are lots of good teachers dotted about |
