Be careful about who you ask. I did that, got a veri off a lady, who was thoroughly pleasant and a good laugh. We never had sex or anything like that, she just verified me after us chatting. Anyway, turns out she has plenty of erm... well... Experience. This I've been told by a few people is off putting. So be mindful who you get.
Also I would say that in my experience, unless you look like the cover of a men's health mag, your best bet is a club. People give you the time of day, and those other qualities that can't shine through on email such as confidence and humour can come into their own and make it a far more pleasant experience. |

Question. Why do men care about getting verified per se? No one will think anything other than a single male is a single male. I can see that having an enthusiastic testimonial following a meet would be helpful, but what's the point of a cam veri saying "yes, he's a genuine single man"? |

I know it is. But it's just a reality of what I have experienced. I'm not saying she wasn't a good person or anything like, but there have been on a more than one occasion, people that when I have started chatting to them, they have raised this as a red flag.
The op has asked opinions and I'm just chipping in with some of what I've experienced. This is fab, for some it's an issue, others it's not. Just like people's preferences. You can't win 'em all but if armed with the right sort of info you can at least know the ins and outs of your decisions.
Would i be bothered if some had lots of veris, no. But some people are. So make your decisions accordingly |

Your visible veri is from 2012 and you’ve got more recent ones hidden. Why?
Guarantee you women will think the same thing, add in her ‘trier’ comment and most will pass by.
Go to clubs & socials, ask for them there. Maybe avoid PAWG in your headline, people who aren’t won’t look at you so less chance to be veri’ed.

I presume, by the fact that you've put the word genuine in inverted commas that you might be fishing for someone to take pity on you and give you a verification without actually meeting you, or perhaps I'm just being overly cynical and what you're actually asking for here is for someone to meet you so that you can get that first verification that you so desperately crave.
Don't get too hung up on the whole verification thing.
I've met people from fab who just don't give them anyway.
Some aren't quite as bothered about them as you might think.
You also need to focus less on verifications as you can put people off in that they'll get the impression that you only want to meet them in order to get verified.
You really do have to think about the message you're giving out. |

We care because many people state on their profiles that they're not interested in meeting unverified men or people who have been on the site longer than six months or a year without being meet verified. Which seems silly to me, but what can I say, it is a case of supply and demand. Women and couples have the upper hand in this and if they state they're not interested in meeting without verification then as single guys we need to get verified. |
