Does personality matter when just looking for sex? I was told by afew why does it matter. For me, sex is about trust and compatibility in personality for me to really enjoy the sex regardless if it's just one night stand or fwb. What's people's opinion? Does it vary depending if you're a male or female?

I have to click with anyone I get involved with for sex otherwise I might as well use a machine of some sort as it will always go longer and harder than a person can.

If you dont have that personal connection then neither of you is going to want to please the other either and what is the point of sex if it's not about pleasing each other as well as yourself?

I agree with you! There has to be some level of trust and I can't trust people whose personality I don't like. Besides, one sentence can kill any attraction, to someone, in a millisecond, so personality ends up the most important thing, when looking for a playmate, even if, initially, it was physical attraction

I have to click with someone.

They can tick all the boxes on paper but when I meet them if that little surge of hormones doesn't happen then it's not happening.

It's a combination of looks, intelligence, personality, body language and I don't think you can categorise it really.

I would hope they'd do the same.

persoanltiy definitely matters whether yer male or female, to have that trust comes down to the personality of the other person ...also ye's click better if the personalities are compatible

I definitely like to have a connection with someone if play was going to happen.
