I think I have finally built up the confidence to attend my first club, I'm still a little nervous though!
Any helpful tips for a first time solo club goer?

Make sure you go on a night when you can.
Look on the site for rules, dress code, etc.
Ask for a tour and for the rules.
In some clubs they'll introduce you to regulars as an ice breaker.
Common sense and manners really prevail here, I think. |

If they don't introduce you to regulars (some clubs don't) don't wait for people to come to you. Approach people who look open to being approached, join in conversations. Be friendly with everyone, not just the ones you fancy.
The hot tub (if there is one) and smoking area (even if you don't smoke) are good places for socialising.
Treat it as a social night out. Listen to the rules and stick to them. Don't drink too much.
Enjoy yourself. Clubs are good. |
