Hi wonderful world of fab. We are looking to get into spanking and restraint and was wondering what rope people are using and do you get pleasure from being spanked anywhere else except on the bum.
Thanks x |

Rope is a matter of preference. I personally prefer untreated coconut rope or hump but do also have some jute.
Or there prefer nylon or cotton for softness. (They are good places to start and they are cheap to buy).
As for spanking.... a part from the booty I like my tits being hit x |

try bondage quartermaster sorry B&Q where you can get a good idea of the feel and sensation of the rope . get lengths around 6-10 meters . have a look at two knotty boys on YouTube for step by step rope work videos showing different techniques of restraint enjoy |

"Have you considered anything other than rope?
This. Straps/restrains can be much easier to deal with. "
Part of the fun is tying the rope and taking it off!
I’d suggest if it’s for a bit of tie and tease and no more than some nice soft cotton rope from Ann summers, love honey etc.
If you want to get more into it then treated jute it’s hemp but it’s more expensive. Places like anatomie or esinem sell it. If someone likes pain then coconut rope.
Shame you’re so far away. I occasionally teach a fun class on rope bondage for sex |

Personally, I love jute, hemp and coconut rope. All for different things. But do some research and see which is best for you. There are plenty of easily accessible and cheap options for those just starting out.
About the spanking, I'd say just explore with each other and see what you enjoy, everyone is different. |

Before you buy any rope/ribbon/vet wrap. PLEASE get some decent scissors. Ideally safety ones (paramedic sheers are cheap and readily available online)
For bondage you can try so many things. Check if any of your group have allergies though. I have friends that react badly to natural fibres.
Then start exploring with safety scissors nearby.
You can use bandages, vet wrap (cohesive wrap) cling film, elastic bands (buy big and wide ones easily and cheaply on amazon) fabric strips, plastic wraps (think circulation and quick removal) ropes, tights....
The list is endless.
Stay safe (circulation and basic anatomy sense) and enjoy |

I would add to that don't use cable ties |

Can I ask why not to use cable ties? |

Because if they're tightened too much you can't get scissors under them to cut them, if the person restrained by them moves much they tighten and can very quickly cut circulation. I believe you can get some specialist ones but we wouldn't ever use them |

Great catch. They can self tighten, to the point the person restrained won't get any feeling so they won't know they've tightened and they have the strength to tear into the skin.
Paramedics digging into a wound to try and cut it off... Not so sexy |

Thanks x" I like my thighs and the soles of my feet being punished. You must be careful when spanking though. The small of your back and kidney areas are definately no go areas unless you want to cause serious damage to yourself |

Please make sure you watch some instructional YouTube videos, you can do some serious damage with rope.
You can’t just have a dabble you need to be shown exactly what not to do.
Make sure you’ve got safety shears to hand! |

"Scarves, belts, cuffs... My preference.
A paddle with 2 different sides, 1 softer than the other when spanking.
Have fun "
We've just bought an excellent one with two different surfaces but also different edges. |

"Wow, thanks for the response everyone. Some really good information in there. scissors on standby x " I
Tell the person being tied up to let you know immediately if they feel any tingling or numbness in any part of themselves. Don't wait to see if it goes away or until it stops and don't leave it "just another minute".
Enjoy! |

Ok some good stuff so far, my wife was just bent over the bed using her lelo. I was moderately spanking her inner thighs the moment I spanked her boob she came.
Some good stuff to be learnt. Thanks |

Surgical shears are the preferred way to remove rope in a quick and timely manner and have the advantage of having blunt ends in order not to cause any harm when using them in an urgent situation. I'd suggest that soft cotton rope us the best place to start as it's easy to cut through and doesn't overly mark the skin. Always learn to walk before running. Good luck and have fun |
