"...is always the most nerve wrecking part!
Anyone else agree?
Not so much these days, but when we first started out it was."
To this day I remember my first club on my own... I parked in the car park and sat there wondering what the hell I was doing with my life! And then I went in and realised - yep this is soooooo right!
Never looked back! |

I must be some sort of inhuman freak, because walking into the club was never the problem. Getting on the phone to talk to them before I went the first time (from the back of the office car park, hoping no one was around to overhear me) - that was hard. But once that was done, going was the most natural thing in the world. And everything that followed.
Thank you, past me, for taking that first step! |

Yes!!!!
It was 15 years ago but I remember driving around the block several times, then sitting in the car and my knees were literally shaking when I walked up to the club! An army of butterflies were doing their worst in my tummy and I nearly turned around several times.
Suffice to say, it was the best thing I ever did! lol |

First time we went to a club our hearts were absolutely racing and we actually found it hard to talk clearly when we checked in. After about 15 minutes in the club though we actually felt fairly relaxed and now it barely registers. |

Slightly off topic... but one of the most memorable and hilarious sights was one of our friends parking down our road and walking up to our front door wearing a figure hugging dress, and porn star ‘glass’ shoes while the next door neighbors son was parking his car.... He’s never looked at us in the same way since... So walking up to a club is a doddle! Happy days! |

I've been trying to pluck up the courage to visit a club for a while now, but haven't made it yet. As a respectful, slightly shy single man, I've noticed that single women and male/female couples on here often have a hard time from the 'fancy a fuck in ten minutes' brigade. I'd hate to be perceived in the same way... |

Just keep in mind that everyone is there for fun. Go with no expectations other than meeting new people and being social with them and making new friends and you'll be fine. If anything we find the club scene easier than socialising in vanilla life as we always have something in common to talk to others about. |

The excitement never goes away....we get excited every time we go.....love just being amongst people “of our own kind”..... and when have to leave it always feels so weird having to dress in normal vanilla clothes again |

Remember my first time I travelled 2 hours. Finally found it, and then thought should I shouldn’t I....so glad I did it was amazing, had so much fun giving and receiving, walked away, bedraggled knees knocking but the biggest smile ever, would always advise first timers to go through with it. |

My first ever swinging event was a social near Waterloo railway station in London. A pub called the Paper Moon if I recall correctly. I couldn`t run back to the car as it was back in Dorset, me having gone to London by train. Yes, the door handle to the pub was certainly opened with some trepidation!
Thankfully, my first club visits were with those who`d been before!

Agree! Its all part of the excitement, a mixture of nerves and anticipation! It still holds the same appeal to us, 13 years after we went to our first club. The only difference now is we wheel in rather than walk in |

Our first club visit saw us sat in the carpark for about 20 minutes trying to find the nerve to get out and walk over to the door. Then it was another ten stood outside the door trying to be brave enough to ring the bell Obviously they could see us on the monitor
These days it's OK, apart from when we have to queue outside on a busy night! |

The club I visited, I parked almost right outside the door, counted to 3, jumped out and rang the bell. Was as nervous as heck going inside, filling out the membership etc, but once inside, was rather underwhelmed. It felt like a Sunday afternoon in a working men’s club, than what I imagined a Friday night in a swingers club might be! Quite the anti-climax really |

I’ve had some interesting experiences walking from a club back to the car; the amount of guys parked up outside who wind their windows down as you walk past and ask “Any women in mate?” Or the time outside LC in Sheffield when an Asian lad in a BMW offered to take me to a brothel down the road...... |

Awkward! "
Worse than that; the time me and my lady friend were collected from Chams, and the taxi driver trying to invite himself in to our hotel room because “some couples don’t like the fun to end”, and, looking at me, “have you ever had bi sex? You should always try new things.....” |

I'd advise going to an organised social near the club venue first. Go there with the sole intention of talking to as many people as possible. That way, when you go to the club you will likely know people there. It doesn't have to be people you want to play with/who want to play with you but it starts your network, and that's what it's all about
Good luck |

I’ve never been to a club due to nerves but have driven past the local one several times wondering whether to go in. The one thing I’m nervous about is standing there on my own & no-1 talking to me.
Any advice would be great. |

We had one taxi driver drop us at a club and mention he might drop in later, true to his word he did and enjoyed playing with B in the club. Needless to say we booked him to take us to our hotel later but did not invite him in and he did not ask.
Business and pleasure kept separate, but an enjoyable time in between. |

We had arranged to meet a couple to go in with that had been before. There’s usually a chat about certain nights/clubs up and people are very friendly about going in together. We had offers of sharing a taxi from hotel as well. |

I was nervous as I live about 20 minutes drive in the car away and worried I may bump into someone I know from outside of Fabs.Just over 2 years later I have yet to bump into anyone who I know outside of Fabs. The walk from car to club was fine was able to find the club after a few minutes. My most nerves are I will come across someone I know from outside Fabs but I deal with it as and when. |

When we went to cj’s, the car park is pretty dark and covered from the main road, but we still saw some women going in with suspender tops showing etc. Mrs was worried her outfit was too revealing. Will definitely have something riskier on next time |

And now, when I do that walk from the car park to the club, if there's anyone who looks like they might need a little bit of support, I'm very keen to offer them a friendly smile and help them in.

most fundamental aspects |
I have taken a few women to their first club experience. I try to be as encouraging and reassuring as possible and there’s always a conversation in advance to explain what to expect.
What I always say to new people, is that in addition to the no expectations part, the best thing to do is to say that they won’t play, as it’s their first time. That helps take the pressure off the nervous and I’ve known other partners who just jump straight in after an hour or so; the nerves being replaced by wetness that needs exploring!

most fundamental aspects |
As far as the walk part, I took one partner who was virtually catatonic in the taxi - she was frozen and could only utter the words “just get me over the threshold I’ll be fine” I offered several times to get the taxi to turn around but she was determined to do it. I had to support her as she got out of the taxi as her legs had gone.
Once inside, she was the focus of a lot of attention. We played ourselves but she decided she didn’t like anybody else on offer. However the sex afterwards in the hotel with the adrenaline still pumping, thinking of all the attention and opportunities, was animalistic, frantic and fantastic |

My first club last summer was a lunchtime event, and I was absolutely petrified.. Had a midday gin and tonic on the way (no I didn't drive!) and told myself not to stress, I didn't need to do anything, just gonna see what it's like.. Ten minutes after arriving the vibe was so welcoming I was already naked having a threesome in front of a room full of people!
My advice would be look for a club which says there's no obligation to even get undressed, that way you know you can just dip out if it's not for you. I bet it will be for you once you're there though! |

Even though it was more years ago than I would like, I remember my first walk to a club door as if it was yesterday.
The club was on quite a busy road and as I walked towards the door everyone was looking at me, pointing fingers, and giggling behind their hands.
Cars driving past slowed down so that they could look at me and laugh, and I just knew that my photo would be on the front page of the local paper the very next day.
All total bollox, but that is exactly how it felt. |

For me, the most nerve-wracking part is walking through door. Everyone in the place stops dead and stares. It's like a scene out of a western – piano player stops playing, barman stops polishing glasses... I'm still half expecting someone to drawl "We don't see many strangers in these here parts..." |

My first visit to a club.
On my own I walked across the car park fully dressed in a bright yellow dress, heart beating SO hard, that feeling of panic thinking everyone in the world was going to laugh at me.
I walked into the club and tried to fill out the member form, hand shaking and I darnt look at anyone.
I walked into the bar and bought a drink, couldn't pick it up as so shaky.
Within the first couple of minutes a man came over and his first words "Hi, you look amazing" we chatted for a couple of minutes ,he took my hand, led me into a private room and I got on my knees and sucked him off until he came in my mouth.
This all in the first 15 minutes of entering the club.
It wad a whirlwind experience and a bigger buzz than any Alton towers ride.
I am quite shy and even now I feel nervouse when I walk into a club.
I would so recommend the club experience to anyone, everyone is so friendly xx |

I agree, nerves anticipation and excitement. On my first visit to club SX I popped into the mini supermarket nearby on my way in, made me giggle, a few couple's were clearly on their way too judging from the ladies attire, eg seamed stockings etc. Sure enough a few moments later there they were in the club! I drove for four hours to the Townhouse to attend a photography event. The whole way there, I was thinking “what the hell are you doing?”, especially when I was right near my old friends’ house who don’t live far away.
It was a daytime event and we had to wait outside until the club opened - all the other photographers had masses of expensive gear sand there was me with my battered, old, second-hand dSLR and an extra lens.
The anticipation was amazing when queuing up though and I had a real “yeah, life’s too short - sod it” moment.
The staff and regulars were so friendly (especially Morticia, who looked after me!) and it felt great once inside.
I’m really glad I did it, and it took away lots of the mystery. I’m pretty sure I’ll be nervous, but fine, when I go again. I’d just get a drink and chat to folks.
Being a bit philosophical - I soon felt that “world” was the honest, natural one and the “real world” outside was the ridiculous, stressful, unhinged one .
If I can step inside a club, anyone can |

I still get it and I have been going to clubs for years.
It’s when you get out of the taxi and the driver goes are you sure where your going!!!!!
Yes. In the days of Uber it’s less likely that you will get a taxi firm knowing what a place is but a lot of taxis still are a few mins from clubs to pick up both phoned taxis and Uber |

I'll tell you on Sunday. Going to a club for the first time ever. A bit older than norm but terrified and excited at the same time. getting through the door will probably be a massive step. Once inside it will be a case of watch and wait and hope there is someone wants what I have to offer |

Fortunately we never had the issue as we went along with a couple who were regulars at a club. It was a bit of a surprise at just how much we relaxed and enjoyed it. It wasn't really what I (Bloke) expected and only really went to say we'd tried it. That was a few years ago and we're still regular club goers.
We do say to people that message us about going to a club for the first time though that once you are through the door you'll wonder why you ever had any nerves in the first place, so do believe that making that first step can be the most difficult part. |

"Slightly off topic... but one of the most memorable and hilarious sights was one of our friends parking down our road and walking up to our front door wearing a figure hugging dress, and porn star ‘glass’ shoes while the next door neighbors son was parking his car.... He’s never looked at us in the same way since... So walking up to a club is a doddle! Happy days! "
I would have winked and said hello to them with the mrs wearing that outfit |

Yep remember Chorley Services very well. Or when staying at a "hotel" and playing spot the swinger or giving each other a knowing wink over breakfast x

"...is always the most nerve wrecking part!
Anyone else agree?
Not so much these days, but when we first started out it was."
Used to be nervous but now we are running to start the fun! |
