Everyone is different, my wife loves oral but not all women have the same nerve endings in the same place and the way the brain receives those signals is not always interpretated identically.
Basically communication is very important, if I was going down on a woman and it did nothing for her I'd hope she would let me know. However, if something is working for you a few hints helps.

I find it really depends on the person doing the giving. I like recieving oral from other women, or from my husband. I think it's just because he knows my body very well after years together, and I'm just more attracted to women so I enjoy it more.

I love it. Both giving and receiving, however it does put me off when I read on a profile that the guy likes to give oral for hours.
Personally, if I’ve climaxed a couple of times through oral I become desensitised and need time to recover.
