Dodgy looking message/ admin or other please help?

Hi There,

We have just had a message from a couple called M and SJ of London claiming for be admin??? They are claiming we have recently tried to upload an inappropriate photo to the site and we will be banned if we do this again.

It goes without saying that we haven’t done this and we’re wondering if this is a dodgy or fake account and not admin. It’s unsettled us and we’re thinking of leaving the site after many years. Can anyone clarify?

The pic wouldn't get approved and you'd have a message saying so and a reason for rejection

That’s what we thought? It’s a full message from a supposed couple in London claiming to be from admin with a warning? When I try to reply to them it goes right to admin response titles but we haven’t done anything that they say. We’re smelling a rat.

I'd just block them

As you haven't done what they're accusing you of, it's a forget and move on.. If it pops up again report the account

This is supposed to be fun and there's always a prick that pops up and tries to upset someone

just reply saying you've involved the police they are now going through ip addresses etc and will be knocking on your door very shortly 1 laptop smashed to bits and sat in the dark for the next week

Ha ha thanks. That’s made us laugh. Having said this it goes to what looks like the proper admin reply if we try to do so. We’re baffled?

Using the contact admin button means your comments to them regarding any issue with the site would be received by a genuine admin member who will look into it for you.

No need to leave.. M and sj have probably forgotten all about you by now anyway and are pestering someone else

Admin has people that checks photos for them as it’s far too many for a small team to handle. It’s perfectly possible that this couple are working for admin and the pic you tried to upload failed one of the rules.

We had the same message once because we loaded a topless beach picture and there was a child way in the background. It’s not problem just read the rules and follow them.

The message suggests we might have had a young family member in the background etc but we dont have any on any picture backgrounds whatsoever so not sure what they are on about. It’s scary that such a mistake can be made? We’ve been on here years without any issue and it seems impossible to talk to anyone about it???

If a picture is rejected you dont get a message it just shows as rejected in your pictures

Thanks for all your help guys. Haven’t a clue then as we definitely haven’t tried to upload any pics with any inappropriate contents at all otherwise wouldn’t be making such a fuss about it??? Have had messages from other people saying they have had similar in the past without doing anything of the sort???

That’s what another member told us which made it sound fake or a copied account???

I think they'd just deny the photo.

Post it in site help section, you're more likely to get a reply on there from them or an admin.

Could you reply to the account? Their normal admin account that they use for fab messages or replies you can't ever message back.

Perhaps you thought they weren't inappropriate but they have broken a rule or something. If you hadn't, it's unlikely you would have got a warning message if nothing was wrong.

No we couldn’t reply to the message??? It just went straight to a lot of possible answer to site questions???

If the photo shows anyone under 18, you do get a message, one exactly like the OP’s got.

No we absolutely hadn’t done what they said 100%??? Before today I hadn’t realised how difficult it was to get some direct contact from someone??

Thanks for all your help on this. Probably something and nothing or maybe a mistake??? I wouldn’t mind but we last posted a pic a week ago and two weeks ago and Haven’t uploaded any pics since then??? Possibly got the wrong couple? Who knows?

I got something similar from that account as they thought my current profile pic was knicked off the Web.

I just re-presented it for approval.

The problem has now been resolved and sorted and a bit of an error? Thanks you admin for getting in touch. Also thanks for all your answers and help. Sorted now.
