I have just had I threat sent to me on my personal phone number telling me to leave Fab. Should I notify admin? What do I do? |

Sorry to hear that OP, I'd say definitely notify admin and if the threat has caused you genuine concern report it to the police. |

Go to the police. If you don't know their profile name I can't see how admin could help with just a random phone number. |

This is awful. Have you given your number out to other fabbers?. Could it be from a jealous female or from somebodys partner?. |

Threatening to do what?
If you're genuinly worried do something like this;
If you know the Fab profile it's from, screenshot the message and contact admin.
If you don't know who it's from contact the police.
Personally I wouldn't block the profile or phone number. If they send more threats you have more evidence.
I guess it depends on what the threat is and how worried you are. |

Telling you to simply leave.. If that's all it was is not an actual threat so police like most things will do nothing.
Could report to admin. But you chose to give your number out.
Although not nice. You could report to admin.
Iwould not block the number as 2 or more text messages that are unwanted can be seen as harassment. Do not reply. Do not fuel fire. I fact. Remove this post as could be seen to a concern.
Simply report to admin.
If get a second message report to police. But would need to be actual threat for police to do something |

Threatening to do what?
if you are cheating then that's something on your own head if you get caught.
If it's threatening to publish photos or tell work etc then it's a case for the police and they can be prosecuted |

Add the number to your phone contacts, maybe as "Mystery Man"
Download WhatsApp (if you havent already).
Search for the contact on there.
They may have a WhatsApp profile picture of themselves, giving the game away. |

It’s nothing to do with Fab if it’s a private message to your phone.
Also can’t see the police getting involved for what you have described.
Simply block the number OP. |

Out of Admin jurisdiction, you've obviously given someone your number, therefore it's a private matter
Report at the very least with 101, in case there's more to come. Best to have it logged, you might not be the only one. They are very understanding. |

Yes it seems a bit weird. Hope you sort it OP. Personally I’d ring number from withheld number and see if they answer. If you know who it is I’d send a message saying PLEASE do not contact me again or I will be reporting you for harassment |

Threats that are away from the site isn't something Admin can deal with. Inform the police if you are being threatened.
