We have teenage kids - how do other manage to live the lifestyle they want to etc whilst having nosey buggers lol. We want to be ourselves not only in our family home but also outside and this means an element of D/s at home but also the alternative lifestyle. Any recommendations with people in a similar position gratefully received lol.

Just be up front and honest, it is your home you pay the bills as long as you don't have a gangbang when they have there friends around, they will have to live and accept it.

I'd say Keep family life and swinging separate where your home is concerned as I think children need a safe loving home even as teens to relax and do what kids do.

I don't think it's good mentally that they see strangers visiting and they'll know what's happening.(obviously you're not doing anything wrong and it's your house to do as you wish)

Make the most of them being at home as it will end soon enough when they move out and then your party house sexy fun times can start

Ha ha I don't miss those days. There used to often be a whole gang of random teenagers upstairs at weekends. An occasional one would surface and grunt politely

My boys are 17 and 15. My house is totally off limits to anyone I meet from here.

If I want to meet someone then I go out, simple as that really lol.

They do question me as to where I’m going and most of the time I just say I’m going to grab a coffee with a friend.

One time I said that I was meeting my friend for coffee at McDonald’s and they asked me to bring food home I never use that as an excuse anymore lol

Lol. Mr used to travel for work so we were always "going to meet one of his colleagues who was in the area". I did say at one time that we would be happy to tell them exactly what we were doing, who with and where if they returned the favour. That shuts them up quicker than threatening to withdraw Internet access

My two oldest are teenagers. They know I hook up with people from other sites and that I occasionally have friends over when they are at their dads. I dont believe its neccasary to hide the fact that I have a sex life from them. They also know that ultimately I would like to be in a relationship as their dad is with someone now.

Nothing wrong with that at all but we didn't want our kids to know that we were having sex with people outside our relationship. There are few sections of society more prudish than teenagers especially when it comes to their parents. We also told them both that they weren't allowed boy or girlfriends to sleep over unless they were in a serious relationship with them. We wouldn't have been setting a very good example

so near and yet so far....

Ha ha I was just thinking if you want them to move out quickly you’d be open with them, but that maybe when they are a lot older...

We kept the two separate whilst the kids lived at home and still do. The only things the kids noticed was that we suddenly had a social life.

We mostly look for meets in clubs right now and would not bring anyone home while the kids are still around, hence we can't accommodate!

As we're still dabbling in this that approach won't change anytime soon either, we're not offended by the idea of kids knowing what we do but they would be a bit young to understand right now and also wouldn't want them to know given we're not sure if we will make this a regular part of our lives or something we do once or twice a year.

Why not say you are meeting for a coffee, full stop?

I have two teenagers. They have their own interests and lives. All they know is mummy is single and goes out on dates and to parties. They don't care about the details.

It depends on the kids and your relationship. I know a lot about the sex lives of teenager uni friends parents, as they seemingly enjoy sharing such stuff . Friends from school may hear and it could become common knowledge.

Money for them to get out to do something guaranteed for a few hours may be cheaper than a budget hotel room.

As much as we remember being that age, they behave in ways that will still surprise us. I generally think caution is better

This thread is very funny.....

It reminds me of the time when I was 8 years old and found some condoms in the bathroom...

I thought these would be great for water balloons , so I filled them up with water and proceeded to have a water balloon fight with all the kids in the neighborhood....

The look on my mothers face when she got home was priceless.....

I think my older would be amazed I did anything as interesting as being mildly kinky. However, it unless with an ongoing 'friend' it is on nights they are out the house.

That just what ours have noticed lol. we keep it seperate.

All they know we going to parties. That's the only excuse we can think to use for socials.

Tell them if they're old enough. We played with a couple who stayed over a few times and they said their daughter would say "are you going swinging this weekend mum?"

I don’t bring anyone home for that reason. But mine know as I left my fab tab open on my phone so away from the home it is. I just say I’m off out. Or on a date

In your bed

Ours are not quite that old, so we still have to arrange sleep overs.

So it curtails our activities, but it's only the same as everything else, can't just nip out and watch a film etc.. But that's the choice we all make.

I'm hoping teenage years we'll get more opportunities to have fun as we will be able to leave them at home to look after themselves more.

If they ask were we are going then the plan will be out for a drink. Keeping it as vague as possible.
