i think meet requests either using the meet feature or the forum for men dont really work, and can often have the opasit effect and make you look desperate, espiecally if your someone whos constantly asking. i'd only use them for special occaissions like if you were having a party say.
they are more for couples and women who want meets from new people, alot of lasses n couples i know when they see them and chatted about it tend to think guys who put them up are desperate and no ones replying anyways.
i dont think they work too well, a well wrote message is better on your status as a guy than a out and out meet request! people read them still and dont look desperate! |

people read them but they dont really do out for me, just reading the forums will show that by the poor respsonse for singles or meet with couples |

I've not tried that particular way, I've put one up as a bit of an experiment, 
I've checked for my area (ne) and there's 47 from single guys, 13 from m/f couples and 2 by ladies

I think this count should tell you exactly why they might not work for single guys, we outnumber everybody!!!!
Thank god there are plenty if ladies who like more than one at a time!

We as a couple generally tend to check out the meet listing but to be honest we look at the profile and that usually dictates as to whether we think it is a normal person were looking at or some guy who thinks he is gods gift. There are a lot of guys advertising so lots to go thru see if one catches our eye, but works for us... |

i booked a hotel once and the guy let me down last min so i put up a meet now thing asking for a guy to join me in a hotel that evening, within 5 mins i had dozens on replies, so i picked one, had a nose at him on cam and within an hour he was in my hotel room, so they work for me  |
