Where is the best place to buy a collar? Looking for something discreet she can wear on nights out.

Thanks in advance

Depends what you're looking for. A collar is a symbol of your bond and commitment much like a wedding ring. I've known everything from a simple necklace, a bracelet or an anklet.

You could be as simple as a cheap chain, a torque necklace or bangle (lockable or otherwise) if you're feing flush and she's so inclined, a Tiffany necklace with a lock on it is a poignant symbol but also super acceptable to the general public (and with some people brings serious bonus points for coming in that duck egg coloured box)

I make collars and other symbols of ownership in leather and steampunk style brass at the upper end of the market.

Incidentally, I completely agree with the preceding poster who said collars are like wedding rings.

a lot depends on what you want from the collar is it to be an overt symbol of ownership or a private symbol of togetherness and love ? as stated by others it can be a dog collar from the pet shop bold overt making a statment it could be a chain with a name it could be a chocker with a lock more discreet and private to you but giving a message in social situations that those in the know can understand

Morning.

Difficult to find discrete collars. If you want a locking collar there is one on ebay. Search 'locking day collar, story of o'

I wore one made from a jubilee clip. It’s on my profile. It felt great to wear as you can feel it if that makes sense.

It’s all about personal choice. Yes collars for pets can be used and come in all colours and sizes. It’s about the sentiment behind it not how much it costs. A gift from your Dom is special.

I wear a collar often but it doesn't symbolise ownership.

I dont really see how a collar could be discreet. Your best bet for discretion is an anklet or bracelet in my opinion.

Can I ask what it does symbolise? #curious

It doesn’t have to symbolise anything - does it? #curioustoo

If you Google discrete collar there are lots on Etsy. But unfortunately they are most shipped from the US so huge postage costs.

My collar is currently broken which is upsetting. It got broken during play with another couple. On the look out for a replacement

I think they are using discrete to mean the collar will not scream of bdsm and submission. But it is to be visible when worn in public.

I have three collars plus my sub name tattooed under my breast. I have a story of O bracelet that is very discreet I never take off. And a very delicate black leather collar with a pearl hanging from it. The other is a full on thick leather collar which is not apt for daily wear lol Try Etsy, that's where Sir got mine from

I have heard of couples using necklaces that usually have some special meaning to them, or ankle braces like someone suggested, instead of collars when they go out.

When i was collared i wore a torque from Extreme Restraints.

Nillas never questioned it but i did get the occasional knowing smile from people in the lifestyle
