To some the Meet and Greet is a very important part of the swinging scene.
Some guys find it very intimidating. I completely understand, sometimes everything is hinged on it going well.
Would anyone like to post some of their stories of the best and worst meet and greets they've experienced?
Also does offering to play a simple card game like UNO, or something else simple and quick, inappropriate?
It would seem like playing a simple game or something else that temporarily draws the focus away from the subject at hand would allow people to feel at ease and possibly show a glimpse of another side of their personality.

A meeting not at the hotel. Like at a restaurant to meet the guy or couple and see if there's chemistry.
I'm very easygoing and don't have problems with them. Buy still prefer the lady's that say "Meet us at the hotel, no need for a meet and greet. It only takes time away from the sex, right" hell yesssss

A social? 100% absolutely necessary for my safety. No games, just a conversation, about anything really. What's scary about a chat in a pub or cafe?
And yes, of course anything further depends on it going well. |

Googling uno... uh?
Personally we prefer a good old classic game of bridge, first to win three rubbers when vulnerable, but only playing Aco of course, gets a blowie.
Normally takes less than two hours. |

Meet and greet - usually referred to as socials - even if it's a coffee or quick drink somewhere, before moving on to a more relaxed environment or say goodbye. Most socials remain that, I think. Meeting somewhere where you are alone, such as a room, can potentially feel too risky, when you've no clue how they may seem face to face.
Playing a game may potentially be too distracting. Better to go on an adventurous pursuit - but that's my taste in life. |

We met a couple in a pub once, as always, we were well dressed, but they looked as if they'd been doing some gardening! Bad enough, but when he looked at Dave and said, "You didn't make an effort then". Not in a jokey way, we decided we were going nowhere with them! |
