We’ve just had a new strange experience. Someone we were arranging to meet up with completely disappeared - not just them, but also all the messages from them in our inbox and all the messages we’d sent them in our sent messages. Are site supporters able to do this? Previously when this happened, messages were just marked ‘user no longer on the site’. |

If their messages have been removed then they have not blocked you, they have left the site.
Around 18 months or so ago the site began to automatically delete emails from inbox's when the sender left the site.

I have just checked your profile and I must say that they must have been bonkers to bail.
Would assume that they liked the thrill of the chase but when things got real they pooped their pants and nuked the account. |

People abruptly close their account for a variety of reasons.
Heck they may have accidentally messaged a relative and shit a brick.
Maybe found an ex by accident.
Maybe some crazed axe wielding stalker and they fled fearing for their life.
No one knows why they deleted their account unless giving prior warning to doing so.
It's gone so move on don't give it a second thought. *poof* thought gone just like their account.
Suspended accounts remain on site just comes up with the person may be blocked yadada or suspended. Messages disappear when suspended, not when blocked.
Deleted profiles state user is no longer on site when you go to their page. |

This made laugh ?? An excellent summing up of the fakers, bottle droppers and wanna be's.
Sadly OP there's a lot of them on this site. A fair few of the single ladies and couples accounts are often just a single male acting the persona so they can talk the talk for wanking material.
Once they have cum splashed their keyboard they then block you and sometimes as _ycall said nuke the account
There's a few things you can do to then out.
Always reverse image search to see if their pictures are genuine or stolen.
Secondly don't engage in dirty chat in messages as this is the wanking material they are after.
