Hi Forumites
I would like a little feed back on my profile please
I’ve been on for a few months but not really had a bite
Help would be great I am beginning to think it’s an age thing as I’m 50 and I see a lot of ladies look for under 40s I always put time into my messages but alas no luck if I’m wasting my time on here please let me know so I can leave and move on

You’re photos aren’t great - the body shot isn’t bad but it’s not particularly good either. The dick pic should be put as friends only if you really just keep it. We all know what they look like.
You mention that most want people under 40... what age range are you looking at yourself? The general consensus is actually that younger blokes have it tougher in that respect, unless you are looking at women and couples significantly younger than yourself? Why not focus on those you do match up with... use the filters on the search function so you only bring up people where you match their age range too.

There is plenty of advice on forum, there are some links on my profile. But I can give you a few pointers:
1) you have 1 photo of yourself, need more variety
2) are you seriously prepared to meet a 99 year old? What could you offer them?
3) your profile is very hard to read, a bit more punctuation wouldn't go amiss. Also, have a read of it yourself a couple of times - is it appealing? Would you reply to a message from a profile like that?
4) not many people are into men wearing high heels, that certainly narrows your potential replies. But if that's what turns you on, wearing heels to a meet, stick to it.

It’s not bad. But it’s not good. It’s just bland. In blends in with the other 100,000 generic bloke profiles. What are the messages like that you are sending? Guys like to think they are putting effort in, but I bet it’s all something we have all seen a thousand times before. |

Better than some but having lots of TV's in your friends list yet saying straight on your profile is conflicting and may confuse people. More photos will help too. |

Good profile or bad profile. The truth is hardly anyone will read it anyway.
To be fair you probably need to improve your pics as that tends to be what people look at rather than reading text.
The big problem though is the last sentence of your post.

It seems like you think that a profile on here and sending a few messages is the golden key to getting meets. IT ISN'T.
As I've said countless times on similar threads.
A profile is just one tool in your box. It can be handy at times but it will not get the whole job done on its own.
Clubs, socials, chat Etc. Are some of the other tools that you need.
Put them all together along with your profile and you may get something out of it.
To leave and move on is just like throwing away your screwdriver because it couldn't undo a bolt. |

That function is not available on mobile site version. You have to use desktop site and friends list will only show if the user hasn't ticked the "don't show friends list" box. |

Folk often blame things they can't change such as age or height or whatever.. often the reason for their perceived lack of success isn't anything to do with those reasons, you don't message folk who exclude that'd be insane.. so those reasons aren't to blame.
Look closer to home Mr loads of advice threads in the archives they all say similar, you can't please everyone so please yourself your profile your choice..  |
